We have been to hundreads of breweries and this has got to be in my top few. Part of it is that I am partial to good sours on the sweet side and complex hazies. Not only did they have both but they were some of the best I have had.nnThe 20 - Somnia Extererri Mango smoothy sour was so rich sweet and sour that it reminded me of a tropical cocktail but I would rather this one. No notes.nThe 6 - Above the Nuage hazy IPA and the 10 - Commutatio hazy IPA were both super hazy and fruity that you couldnt see even through the sample. It was complex and bright. Just what I look for in hazies.nnThe seating was amazing too. Plenty of varied seating from long couches that could hold big groups, to picnic benches, and even a few single seating on the side. Even with the heat, the trees blocked out most of the sun so it was always a good tempurature without needing unbrellasnnThe line would go from a few people to out the door quickly but they went through them pretty fast. When there arent many people and depending on the bartender they give samples which was how we got to find some of these great ones, but when its long they tend to shy away from samples so wait for it to calm down if you want some.nnI hope I can come back to Montreal again some time to come back to this one. I will miss it and recomend it to anyone visiting.
Top place. Great space, big selection on tap, always something new. If you’re into IPA’s you’ll love this place. Try their slushy options. Music is on point, food is exactly what you need when zipping a beer. The location is nice, just right next to the canal, definitely a must during the sunny days in Montreal.
10/10 brewery. So many beers on tap with a variety of flavours. The slushie beers were phenomenal. The patio is busy but huge and we easily found a spot for our 13 person group- also dog and child friendly. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to Messorem multiple times, and each visit has been a great experience. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a perfect spot whether you're hanging out with friends or on a date.nnDuring the summer, their outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and adds to the overall vibe. Even indoors during colder months, the setting remains enjoyable. The staff are fantastic—friendly, efficient, and always bring positive energy when taking orders and serving.nnAs for the drinks, the beer selection is solid, and the pricing is fair. The food is decent, though I think there’s room for improvement.nnOverall, Messorem is a great place to relax and enjoy good beer in a fun environment.
Fantastic place with great beers, and the first time I’ve ever heard of or tasted a beer slushie. Amazing! We are from Ottawa but can’t wait to cycle in Montreal again soon, with a stop at Messorem!
