Kazu Japanese Restaurant

Ive had Kazu several times over the last year, throughout the pandemic. Their food is incredible, and is one of the best sushi restaurants in Burnaby/Vancouver hands down. I’m so grateful to have them in the neighborhood and love going back for such well made, delicately crafted sushi. Thank you Chef!

Excellent fish quality , very tasty. One of the rate places that serves real wasabi. Our favorite among all the fish we tasted was the eel other were great as well. Nice hospitality. A little small location be sure to make a reservation.

Very short hours and no dine in, which is annoying. Otherwise, best sushi place in lower mainland.

My favourite sushi place in Burnaby. Kazu-san's sushi and seafood is always fresh and tasty, and the chirashi don is one of the best ways to sample it first hand. Nabeyaki udon is my favourite go to dish in fall/winter, and the wife loves the grilled mackerel all year round.

I come back after many years. Still the same service and quality I remember. Very few times I actually find a Japanese owned sushi restaurant among so many of other foreign owned.

This place never disappoints, but it is small so come early! Their maki sushi is best of any Japanese restaurants we know in BC.

Hands down! This place is awesome. Being run by Japanese staff and chefs. One of the best sushish I have had so far. Reminds me of the quality I had last year in Japan! 100% recommended!
