Stream of consciousness review #1. Why is the bathroom in front of the entrance for Neptune seafood restaurant only? #2 as someone else noted the appearance and size of items on menu do not match. If there are no pictures then you have an excuse. #3 how can you mess up basic rolls like the dynamite roll #4 today as usual at other restaurants I was warned by server to be careful with hot oyster motoyaki. This oyster motoyaki was unappetizingly lukewarm. #5 service was good and attentive, a bit too attentive at the beginning when not many customers. #6 they have live lobster tanks #7 prices are too high #8 udon ok but the smallest size I have ever seen. #9 their television feeds are out of sync. #10 I didn't find the toppings on the sushi to be a good choice. Sweet ?soy sauce, some apple thing, some pumpkin puree
I was very happy to be the first guest of Ajishou Japanese restaurant in Brentwood mall. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service staff was very warm, my family and I were very satisfied!
This was a solid sushi experience in Amazing Brentwood. So glad Ajishou has another location here! We tried Black cod, Aburi sushi, Sashimi set, Beef teriyaki set and Tartare toro etc.: - all ingredients are fresh and food is well prepared and served. Love all! Tartare Toro is for $18.95. Great services / view / food, with better prices than food court!
So happy Ajishou has a new location near the Brentwood station, so much closer to my work. The lobster & sashimi combo is amazing and fairly priced. And service is great.
The food isn't great at all. The overall quality is lacking and portions aren't worth what you pay. Photo below is of the measly salmon belly sashimi $28.95.Food: 1/5
We had a wonderful birthday for my girlfriend at Ajishou last night. The service staffs were very warm and the food was delicious, especially the sashimi cake we ordered, which was amazing!
60$ beef sashimi… I’m not even kidding and it taste like straight up raw beef with this slime texture. I’ve tried beef sashimi other place with 15$ that tasted better. Please do better if ur gonna charge ppl that much. My stomach feels so bad after having the food. Give 1 star for the view. View was good.
Very attentive staff. Tried the agedashi tofu, takoyaki, and dragon roll which were all very delicious. Love the window view as well. Will definitely come back!
We visited it on a Saturday night and it was a great experience overall! The restaurant in brendwood mall just opened a few weeks ago and the dining environment is great! We were kind of lucky as we arrived there earlier--the restaurant was fully booked that night! We tried several items on their menu including sashimi, yakisoba, and tempura. Their chef's special tastes great--sashimi was awesome! My boy's favorite is yakisoba and tempura. While it was a full house that night it was fortunately not noisy at all. We really appreciate this: It is definitely a place we would love to revisit! Kid-friendliness: It is super kids-friendly! The environment is great and they came to our table a couple times to make sure everything is good. My boy loves their yakisoba and udon!
I was amazed by the food and service. The sashimi is very fresh. Black cod Miso is my favorite. Will definitely go there again. The price is reasonable. So glad to have a nice Japanese restaurant at Brentwood mall. Kid-friendliness: My daughter likes the food especially the Nabeyaki Udon and chicken Karaage.
