Japadog

Went on a weekend afternoon and there was a short line. Ordered a wagyu hot dog with mayo and seaweed on top. Flavour was good, although the amount of mayo was a bit overpowering and covered the flavour of the wagyu. Overall the texture was good and the flavour was savoury and rich. Also ordered fries, which had been covered in some spices. They were crispy and evenly seasoned, making for a wonderful addition to the hot dog.

We LOVE Japadog and this newer location is no exception. The staff is friendly and quick - even while fulfilling many food app orders. So happy to have Japadog open a location here - one of the shops that actually make Brentwood amazing.

My rating is based only on my hot dog. I had the Kurobuta Terimayo with no seaweed and as far as hot dogs go.. this was pretty great. It was super flavourful and unique! I also had a poutine and it was okay. However, this is not their specialty so I can’t judge too harshly. The fries were crispy but the gravy was nothing special.

Was really looking forward to trying a Japadog after hearing lots of good things about the downtown locations and came to this branch by chance. Service was great; well timed, friendly and helpful. My partner ordered the Yakiniku Rice dog and I ordered the Yakisoba. Mine was well presented and my only complaint is it could've done with a little more sauce. His on the other hand was supposed to be topped with BBQ style beef and as you can see in the pics, it was more fat cuts than it was beef which had a horrible texture/taste and couldn't be eaten.

I love having Japadog in the neighbourhood at Brentwood’s food court! The staff are nice and courteous. The terimayo, oroshi and yakisoba are my top fav’s. I highly recommend ordering it with the curry poutine or grabbing a large and considering that your meal because it’s a lot and delicious! This is ultimate comfort food for us. If there’s a line, don’t let that deter you - it’s worth the wait. Usually if there is a line I’ll place my order then head to another stall to grab a drink or bubble tea in the interim.

Sausage was too small! But otherwise tasted well. For an $8 food, I wish a bit bigger sausage is used. The smoke effect on sausage #4 was done well.Recommended dishesKurobuta Terimayo Hot Dog, Japadog

The hotdogs were delicious, however a bit overpriced since the flavours mainly came from the sauces and toppings. I also tried their side karaage and would not recommend it. It was burned, hard and very salty.

I usually come to this location and no issues at all when it comes to customer service and food, but last night was ridiculous, I ordered fries, and so did my friend right after me but my order came first, when she got her order, the fries that she got were cold and not tasty like mine, my son also complained that they were being cheap with the seasoning, so we complained and asked nicely at first to get new fries, then we waited for awhile thinking that they were making it , made it a big deal as if we were lying about the fries so we gave it back and once they got the go from the manager they made my friend new fries, we asked for the girls name that was giving us attitude for her name so that we can bring it up to the manager didn’t give it to us, but all good! Took a picture instead! Japadog at this location please train your staff to be more polite! And don’t take it to offense we only wanted a fresh new batch of fries!

Unusually slow. Tried their food cart and restaurant locations in the past and, while their japadog is still ok, the slow service here is disappointing given how much you're paying for a hot dog with slightly interesting toppings.

The hot dogs here are just as yummy as the ones from the food carts downtown. I got the classic kurobuta terimayo. Super happy they're so close by. Also there are a lot of other really awesome food stores in this foodcourt.
