I have been dreaming about buying my very first Volvo XC90 for a few years. I have been to several Volvo Dealerships 3 in the lower mainland BC Canada, 1 in Hawaii and 1 in Las Angels. Just to see my dream car sit in it for a bit and talk with a salesperson about it. I have never own a Volvo till now so going into dealerships and understanding the brand and getting a sense on how I would be treated once a customer was important. Every experience was wonderful and even though I wasn’t buying and just their to look i was treated by everyone with a lot of respect and willingness to talk and sell me on their Brand Volvo. The one salesperson out of all I had the pleasure in meeting and really took it to the next Level of service, understanding and knowledge was Peter Sakamoto and work at Jim Pattison Volvo Surrey BC. Peter completely took his time understanding me and my family needs, understood my preferred method of communication (text messages) and never once pressured me into anything. It took almost 2 years before I actually committed to buy a Volvo and Peter was there helping me with every single silly little question that would pop into my head. An amazing Guy and has gotten me into a Fantastic Vehicle 2018 Volvo XC90 R-Design If your in the Market to buy a new car consider Volvo and Please call Peter and let him know your coming by so you can have an amazing experience like I did. Service staffs are polite, professional. Especially thanks to Daniel, who help me to do all my translations to Mandarin. And it would be great if I could make appointment by Wechat.

The staff I dealt with were friendly and professional, however I would never recommend using their mechanical services. I brought in a vehicle that I had just bought for $1900, a 2001 Volvo V40, to have the check engine light problem dealt with. I had their assurances before hand that they would fix the issue. Instead, I received a quote for $5000 in repairs, only about $300 of which were related to the check engine light, which had not been repaired. I told them not to do anything and drove it away. I priced out the parts myself and have since done $4000 worth of the work for under $600, including $250 I gave a mechanic to replace the catalytic converter. The catalytic converter cost me $220 new. So for $450 I did a portion of the work that they had quoted me $1700. I understand that they are used to working on new vehicles and probably only use OEM parts, but this discrepancy is remarkable. I still need to replace the camshaft and crankshaft seals. They quoted me $1300 for this. I'm looking at Volvo mechanics that are not affiliated with a dealer to complete this job. I see why people call dealerships "stealerships". They only got 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff really was friendly and professional.

Service staff are professional and nice, helped on details and ensure I could understand of every item listed on paper. Sales Danile did a great job and transfered into Mandarin for me. Great aptitude! Definitly will recommend to friends want to buy a car.
