Erik Hansen March 6, 2011 I decided to go with Ironwood Flooring because of the owners background knowledge of the product (Jatoba – Brazilian Cherry Wood and Red Oak) and the fact that Simar’s family in Brazil are in the forestry and wood product business which pertain to my purchase. Installation was done as agreed on short notice and before the Christmas Holidays leaving amble time to clean-up for our out of town visitors arrived. We were quite satisfied with the workmanship, clean-up process and workers were accommodating in keeping the dust to a minimum. Two rooms and an upstairs landing amounted to a space in excess of 700 square feet. The price paid for the job was slightly better than 4 other estimates that we had obtained. Installation requirements were clearly spelled out in simple terms without hidden costs. If I require other rooms done in my house, I would not hesitate to do business with Ironwood again. Summary: Friendly Service by the Owner, Very accommodating if I wanted to do my own installation. Price was reasonable and done on time as agreed. PS: I initially was going to do my own installation (being a handy person) but choose to have Ironwood do the install because of the hardness of Brazilian Cherry and the chance of spoiling to many blanks from lack of experience. Job well done!
