Having served the Port Credit area since 1984, the Sahdra family is proud to bring you “Indian Cuisine By The Lake.” Located right in the heart of Port Credit, Indian Cuisine By The Lake is a new generation Indian restaurant that offers a casual dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Over at Indian Cuisine By The Lake, our team dedicates their expertise, ambition and talent to ensure your dining experience here is a memorable one. Watch Master Chefs at work in an open concept kitchen as they carefully prepare your meal from fresh baked breads, kebabs from the Tandoor (Clay Oven) to spice infused curries from different regions in South Asia. Delicious! fantastic food. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who likes genuine tasting Indian food (coming from someone who tasted it). I've seen some negative feedback from around 2017, but it seems to have greatly improved since then - as though Ramsey did his magic there!

I visited this restaurant for it's All You Can Eat Buffet, which is advertised prominently outside the restaurant. After eating 3 naans (Indian style bread), I requested more. At that point, I was told I cannot order anymore, which is the entire point of an all you can eat buffet. When I informed the waiter, the sign says "All you can eat buffet"- I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Very misleading advertising. Will not return here again.

Went to this restaurant on Saturday, Nov 25, 2017 (evening). Being very explicit as the owner must know who is leaving feedback here. Me and my wife live around there and thought to try this Indian restaurant. Our order took over 35 minutes to arrive. We ordered a Non Veg platter ($29) as an appetizer where Fish was all broken and buried with other meat. During that 35 minute wait no one came once to apologize or ask for water, however the owner seeem to cater to everyone else even picking up their plates. The bread was all stale and we had to complain, which they replaced. The curries were just OK. We tasted them and decided to leave. Still tipped them however not my usual 20%, here it was just 10%. Poor overall experience and over priced for the quality they provide. Hoping they will Work on serving every customer with same enthusiasm and respect. Do not necessary like Mandarin,but they could certainly learn a few things about hospitality from them.

Good place to dine in. We ordered paneer makhni and better naan and it was delicious. Veggie starter was great too. Would definitely recommend this place.
