Fired Up!

I’ve been here a few times over the last couple years, and during my last visit in March 2018 we ordered our favourite seafood platter and was completely disappointed. The portion and type of seafood did not justify the $88 price tag. Half of the seafood was not grilled dispite the fact that we were told by the waiter that this was a grilled seafood platter. When we brought this to the waiters attention, we were notified that some of the seafood was sautéed and/or boiled. During our previous visit this was not the case as we were impressed by the quality of seafood and the way it was prepared (grilled). I’ll spare the other disappointing details, long story short, we are not going there for dinner again.

Really really really great food! Been reading the low reviews, and then looked into their other posted reviews to find, all of them have very basic pallets. And I don't think it's a coincidence. First time I had great service from the older gentleman. Second time the service needed improvement from the younger staff. The waitress had a listening issue and assumed things incorrectly 100% of the time. But the food quality trumps the service. Friend had a bad ambience experience with construction during dinner service however, but I will try again and report back.

We went to dine at Fired up last night for the first time and we are so pleasantly amazed. We didn't have reservations but were seated in an available area right away. Our server Tom was very knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, large variety of fresh meats and seafood that is reasonably priced. This will likely be our new favorite spot and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a classy cool place to enjoy a great meal.

Charming little place. The atmosphere and music of resang known songs in a jazzy calm vibe is great for dinner and drinks while the service is unbelievable. The server's old school charm and treatment is phenomenal. The patio is cozy and the food is good. Overall, I am definitely coming back there.

We had a great experience here on a Friday night. We already had dinner and stumbled across Fire It Up. It was so cute we decided to go in for a drink. Our waiter and who I believe is the owner took great care of us. Didn't rush us and suggested a great wine and their charcuterie board. We enjoyed ourselves so much we accidentally knocked over a glass! Without missing a beat, the owner came with a fresh full glass of wine to replace it. Scott our waiter was so friendly and nice. Definitely coming back for dinner next time.
