Hunan Village Cuisine

So delicious! Was in NYC for one night, and I stumbled across this place nearby. Super friendly staff and calm atmosphere. I got to practice my Chinese, and the staff was very kind to teach me some new words. As for the meal, I got the Xiao Long Bao and Cucumber Salad, plus rice and a drink. Adding the rice to the leftover oil from the salad was *chef’s kiss*. The xiao long bao was super fresh and delicate. All of this plus a drink was $21. Great value!

I went to this place yesterday to grab some lunch during my break from work. I absolutely love their food and prices!!! I tried the Beef With Onion Lunch Special for the first time and it tasted so good. Definitely coming back again! Also, the employees in the restaurant are very nice and helpful.

Excellent food when I ate in. The food was hot and was seasoned well. The server was very polite and attentive. I'll be coming back with family soon. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp going all the way down to the restaurant.

Bad is an understatement.. orderd kampao chicken and pepper chicken they came with wonton soup and hot and sour soup Dishes lack flavor and are full of fried red hot chilis. The pepper chicken was a chewy refried chicken with fried red chillis tasteless rather had burnt oil smell.

The most pronounced wok hay flavor I've tasted in a while. Their green pepper fried pork smells magic!!!

Absolutely love this place . The Hunan fried rice and Wong Choi rice tasted SO good . Flavorful and a good serving . Here 6 months after , servings are smaller and I don’t like the attitude of this lady at the counter . Hoping it’s not because we’re people of color . She should not act like she doesn’t understand English ?

Ordered food with two rice for two persons. Coming with a small tiny fork and a pair of chopsticks. Now we two chinese girls are fighting for the only chopsticks. Definitely I will kill that girl for the chopsticks. Best valentines day ever.

Excellent food. All dishes were delicious. Friendly and attentive staff. Surprisingly affordable prices. A party of 3 hungry men paid 99$ including tip. Big thumbs up.
