Hunan Style Restaurant

Hunan style cuisine. The taste is on the spicy side, but if you don’t like spicy food remember to ask them to make you meal more mild. The patio was a bit dusty, so we had to clean the chair by ourselves before we sat at the table; however, the price is cheap so we don’t really complain.

I lived in China for years and fell in love with Hunan cuisine. Hard to find Hunan food, most menus have Sichuan chicken and no Hunan. This is the only place I have found so far in Ontario that makes the dishes I want. Our order was fast, fresh, authentic and spicy! Staff was helpful and efficient. We had hot and sour shredded potato, spicy green beans with minced pork and sliced fried pork with hot green peppers. Shown in photo...those three dishes with two steamed rice was about $46 after tax. Servings were generous, my husband and I ate these three dishes for supper and still had some to pick at for breakfast. If you love real deal Hunan food, go here!

Don’t waste your time here. No service, bad taste. I would give a zero if I could. It means something when all restaurants nearby have waiting lists for over 2 hours except for this place.

I have been going there for BBQ for years. The lamb skewer is the best in town. The draft is only $8.99. The prices for other dishes are reasonable too. I highly recommend the place.

The food was excellent and the service was great! The waiter was very patient and very accommodating. The only reason why I can't give it a 5-star is because they don't take card payment...but fortunately we had enough cash on us. Overall experience was good and would come back again in the future!

The Stir-fried Pork and Green Pepper Rice Bowl is a must for this restaurant. Got it from uber eats before and it was so good so I came here today to order the take-out. the owner is a bit pushy and wanted me to order something else more expensive so he told me the portion of this bowl is small and can only feed one person. It is not true because the portion I got from uber eats can feed two people. The bowl is not cheap though. It is $15. The service needs to be improved.

Was regular customer on Uber eats - good food no doubt, but called in for an order question; order taker girl doesn’t speak English and decides hanging up the phone on the customer is the best response. If you are doing business with Uber and customers please make sure you have one person on your staff who can understand basic English if there order issues and train them on customer service. You lost long term client!

Too salty.. everything.... Also the floor is a little dirty. I can see a spoon and alot of dust....

Food Poisoning I ordered spicy fish fillet and braised pork rib with potato on Saturday night. And got food poisoning after eating. You guys should really fix your food safety!!
