Hong Tai Supermarket

I always like this super market. The workers are very friendly. There is always plenty of fresh vegetables and meat. Only in the recent years the price went up a lot. I used to buy snacks there but not any more, too expensive. For buying milk, cheese or Kimchi this is not the cheapest place to buy. Tofu and frozen seafood are very good here.

I would swing by during the evening time to check out their hot food end of day specials. It is a hit and miss on selection but it is a good value if you find something you like.

They have a lot of things, but it's quite expensive here compared to Nofrills or Walmart. The customer service here is terrible, if you have any questions, don't bother, the staff and cashier are very rude might also be because there's a language barrier. Good luck shopping!

Terrible customer service, you are not allowed to carry a bag into it and the cashier will check your bag to verify if you steal their goods! Charge 5 cents for each plastic bag— they found a new way for making money! Cashier doesn’t know English well, I have heard cashier fought with customers a few times due to bad service!

Clean, fresh produce, great selection of frozen food such as fish. One of my go to sports for shrimps and other fish.

Excellent services and fresh fruits and vegetables / groceries. Always in stocks all products. Good customer services. Parking is available easily always around. Products are reasonable priced.

Great place to shop fruits and vegetables, they are always fresh. The downside is the smell of the place, which isn't very good.

I don't usually write bad reviews. First all, bring your own bag is the norm here in the 21st century. I was stared at the whole time when I brought my own bag to shop at this supermarket first time shopping here btw. I do understand the theft rates are pretty high in that neighborhood, and won't blame them. However, please find a better way to mitigate thefts, learn from TNT and Walmart! Secondly, I don't understand why they are not restricted from using plastic bags here. Lastly, no price tags on a lot of items. That's extremely annoying.

Quick shopping experiences. It's straight forward where stuff ought to be, The cashiers are fast and alert to their customers. Very welcoming, warm smiles throughout the store.

It's a nice Asian grocery store. Sea foods are fresh so as the fruits and vegetables. Prices are reasonable. Parking is not a problem.
