Yal Market

I used to shop at Yal Market regularly, but the quality has gone downhill recently, and the cleanliness has become a serious issue. My most recent experience was the worst yet—I bought a packet of biscuits, and as I was eating, I found something absolutely disgusting inside. There were what appeared to be animal droppings mixed in with the biscuits. This is completely unacceptable. I won’t be shopping here again, and I urge others to be cautious as little kids eat too.

Great ethnic grocery store conveniently located near Kennedy subway. Adequate parking available. They sell a varieties of vegetables and other produce. You can get lots of Srilankan and Indian items there. Only complain is about the cleanliness which is terrible. As another reviewer said you have to be cautious when buy any stuff and make sure to check the packaging and expiry. I hope the owner will concentrate on tidiness. I would highly recommend if you look for Southeast Asian vegetables in a cheaper price.

Yal market is known for providing a wide variety of authentic South Indian food products and ingredients that are hard to find in regular supermarkets. Moreover, this store also provides excellent customer service and they have knowledgeable staff, who can assist customers with finding the right products for their needs.

Good place, which looks like local Indian market. It has most Indian vegetables and groceries on shelves. Nice place to shop for south Asians.
