Best store to buy everything ( veggies, fruits, meat, groceries, bread, food and pastries ). High quality fresh vegetables and fruits with really lower price. Also I found some fresh veggies that I haven't found anywhere else like different kind of beans. Meat and chicken ( halal) also fresh, marinated or not with reasonable price. Various options of tasty foods and pastries with nice and friendly staff in these sections. Good thing about pastries is they are not toooo sweet unlike most places in Toronto. And the pitta bread is also fantastic ( fresh and cheap)

Great grocery store with lots of good fruits and produce. There is a food buffet with good selection of Eastern foods and desserts. There is also freshly in house baked Pita breads. Halal Butchery for meats and fish.

do not recommend to buy cheese on "Special" sale. I used to buy some of those specially priced prepackaged cheese on regular basis last year and it was good. This year my three recent visits left me with prepackaged variety of cheese that was not suitable for consumption at all - faulty smell, discolored edges, bad stale/funky taste. Had to throw away 8-10 packages to avoid food poisoning, very upsetting. This store used to be way better on the quality of produce.

The Mississauga branch is bigger and better Update on 2017 Nov 23 They made the carts with coins, No Problem Th he value of the coin is a $2, No Problem They lock the carts with Chain and a Lock so to return your cart you've to cross the whole parking lot back to Adonis where you can return the cart. I spoke with the guy collecting the carts who was very rude asked me to talk to management Spoke with management who were very apologetic and promised to open the gate When I was leaving that still didn't happen after 1 hr!!! So 1 star for inconvenience! Cheers

Used to love going their for the simple shopping experience with a middle eastern theme. Nowadays, Adonis is more westernized and lost the original identity which made it successful at first. Micromanagement has compromised quality for tiny little profit resulting in huge difference in bakery, kitchen and grocery. They even start charging for bags and trollies can only be used if you put 2$.
