Yogas Super Market

We bought mutton and they had put all the bones which are suppose to be garbage and fat. I called them as soon as you say it’s not good they just hanged up the call. They don’t even have Curtiss to say sorry. Really worst people.

Their mutton goat meat is amazing and flavourful, they are famously known for their mutton, have been a repeat customer for over 5 years for their mutton. They carry all meat and vegetables at affordable prices, always well stocked with fresh items and great customer service !

Avoid this place as they are discriminative when selling goat meat. They sell the better quality, meaning the tender cuts to their friends and sell the poorer quality to everyone else even if one is a regular customer. On top of that you'll also get loaded with bones and fat. I suspect they buy 2 different quality meat i.e. good quality and poor quality goat meat and sell both at the same price which is not fare particularly when they sell the poor quality meat to their not so regular customers. In their show case it is hard to tell which is good and not so good in terms of tenderness. I have often seen their preferred customers sold meat that is kept in the cold room and not from the show case. Their fish and and vegetables borders between good and excellent.

Best Goat Meat, travel 2 hours on the highway every 6 months from London, Ontario to buy Goat meat. Despite living in a city surrounded by farms the goat meat from these farms doesn’t compare to what yogas sells. Yogas has been our trusted butcher since the early 90s.

Yogas Supermarket very popular for mutton meat in Sri Lankan community. Everyone who lives in Scarborough knows very well that Yogas sells excellent quality mutton and sea foods.

Quaint but good service, Item was not up front but female employee quickly went to go grab me a couple of them from the back...good selection of indo- thai, canadian and east indian foods they do have various items and different more special rare things other places do not.
