Stephen's No Frills

The only no frills that doesnt price match. They only price match 3 other stores that you can legit walk too. Whats the point? The point system is not the best so at that point you might as well go to another no frills or just go to walmart or frescho or the metro. Thats all this stupid store price matches. On top of the stock always low. I dont know if its the owner or what but this place SUCKS!! Davesmarkham and lawrence and Nadia kennedy and eglinton ave east No frills all close to the area are WAY better have stock and the employees are awesome!! I live closer to steve but i will take the bus, uber, drive to dave everytime!

I’ve been shopping at this location for a while but in the last couple of months I have noticed a lot of improvements. The layout of the store seems more organized and clean and the customer service is excellent. The new owner is doing an amazing job. He seems to really care about his customers. Well done!

The amount of expired food is disturbing. You need to check the date on EVERYTHING. Example: the cottage cheese I like is almost always expired and I have to sift through the shelf to find good ones. Last week there were over a dozen containers and every single one was expired.nnSame issue with fresh berries, often every container is moldy. I even saw them stalking the shelves with rotten strawberries recently.nnThey would rather throw everything in the trash than sell it at a cost where it would actually move before expiring. They hired security recently too, theft surely went up with the greedy prices grocery stores are charging. They gotta protect that overpriced rotten food they are going to throw away.

Big store good variety. Maybe it was a busy weekend but the seemed low in some fresh produce. Clean and staff were good.
