Racist staff. I have been in a few times looking for specific pieces. The staff has never once greeted me after first glance. (Speaking from the last 3 experiences I've walked in.) However, every Caucasian customer that walked in was greeted happily. I don't usually base my negative reviews after 1 occurrence, but once I noticed a pattern, I knew I had to share.

It is a very rare event that I give a 1 Star but I feel it's quite necessary for the extremely terrible service (not) offered in my direction. I don't think I've experienced this level of obvious discrimination in a while. My quick description of the store would be if Barbie decided to open up shop. Flouncy high waisted dresses in sparkly jewel tones & stiff materials so you can almost use the skirt like a table top. Price point is affordable for cute cocktail look. It's a cute looking place ... if the staff thinks you look the part. I walked in myself. A group of teenagers walked in before me and a older mother with a preteen came after me. The young staff here all jumped onto the group before me but it was clear they weren't going to buy anything. You'd think I might get a cursory glance my way ... no, both staff went to the mother and daughter to help them. The mom was overwhelmed and felt the dresses were too young for her. They left promptly. I didn't think much of the lack of interaction till two other groups came in and the sales staff jumped to say hello. I then looked at all the customers greeted ... other than female, they were all Caucasian. I don't want to call it out if I was misunderstanding the situation but when I saw them ignore a cute South Asian girl, I knew something wasn't right. Walked straight out without having the staff even say thanks (which they did to the other customers). Honey... you're not sweet at all. If you have an open store to bring in money, use some of your revenue to train your staff so it's not blatantly obvious there's a racial bias.

I actually LOVED the service. I came in to try a Canada Goose jacket. Not only did the salesperson help me with the right sizes for my picks, but actually suggested a parka model herself, which I ended up buying as it fit me perfect. I was very happy, thus sharing my experience. Holt Renfrew service (and assortment for that matter) in selecting a parka was WAY worse on the same day.

Cheap overpriced clothing and unfortunately HONEY does not stand behind the products they sell.
