Fortin's Home Hardware

A few times I've made a special trip to pick up something that their site says is in stock, only to have them tursely shrug their shoulders and say they don't have it. Today she got defensive. Very bad customer service. I'm trying to shop locally owned, but this company keeps letting me down! Canadian Tire saved the day. Save yourself the trouble. Go there first.

Great place to go. Staff very helpful

This store has very kind and helpful staff. They sometimes have items that other stores like Canadian Tire don't carry. They have smaller knick knack type things as well, such as garden decorations, small appliances, etc. They usually have a seasonal section as well. Prices are slightly more expensive than say Home Depot or Walmart or Canadian Tire. But that's to be expected since it's more of a smaller specialty store.

Female employee was very rude to me. Tried to return a product to the store, tried to deny the return for me saying it wasn’t the same item even though I had solid evidence that I bought it from here. She gave me some annoyed stares and lots of attitude. Never buying from this store again.
