Canadian Tire

This is quite a decent Canadian Tire location. This one had a coffee nespresso station, where someone is giving out free samples made from their product. I also like how they decorate their store for the holiday seasons. Despite how expansive the store is, I could not find what I was looking for, which were fixture light bulbs for my home. I would still check out this Canadian Tire location.

Went to the store for a price match and at first I didn’t fully understand the store’s independent rules on what qualifies for a price match. Thanks to the front-end staff member, she was able to get her manager, Parm, who kindly explained how a product needs to qualify. We were able to find a suitable alternative option.nnThank you again for helping me and saving me a drive to Langley!

My family and I came here today, and my wife struggled to find the right carpet cleaner and machine—a powerful one at that. But then we met an honest and dedicated worker who guided us to the strongest and best one. I had a very disappointing experience at Canadian Tire. The purpose of price matching is to stay competitive, so it shouldn’t matter what price the store gets from its supplier. As a customer, I expect the advertised or competitor price to be honored regardless.nnInstead, I was told they couldn’t match the price because their supplier cost was higher, which defeats the whole point of price matching. It felt like a weak excuse and left a poor impression. Unfortunately, this makes it hard to justify shopping here again.

Canadian Tire has become very dishonest with their pricing and that is especially true when it comes to their house brands such as Mastercraft. The dishonesty with pricing is the most obvious in the tool section where they say an item is on sale and tell you the regular price is much higher than the sale price except they never actually sell it at that higher price. The quality of their hand tools has also declined greatly in the past decade, mostly with how quickly they rust.
