1 Star is being generous, was staying the night for a wedding, as the entire bridal party was heading upstairs for the night, the lone working elevator decided to break down leaving them stuck. The agent and the front desk did not seem to be too worried nor did he apologize for the inconvenience. Long story short after another worker came to reset the elevator, they were let out in the workers area. Not feeling safe in the elevator we had to take 7 flights of stairs to our room after a night of partying.nnThe room itself was outdated and run down, mold in the shower, bed was horrible.nnI voiced my concerns to the front desk agent,he offered no apology, all he did was note down our room number and give me a blank business card when I asked for some sort of compensation. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager all he did was shrug his shoulders and hand me the receipt.nnThe hotel side is a dump, the only reason to be there should be for the event halls, which is clearly the only thing keeping this place running.
The hotel is not maintained properly, rooms are not as per pictures, bathroom lock was not in working condition, ventilation system in washroom also required attention. Weird smell felt from the room. The swimming pool is open only on weekends.
If I could leave a negative I would .. the hotel advertised a beautiful waterside and pool .. did not mention that it is only open on weekends.. the room was awful, mold in the bathroom, missing trim and other unsightly finishes to the room. I booked 2 rooms and did not even go into the second room before deciding we would not be staying there. Spoke to the front counter clerk and was told she would refund. We left and never received a refund for the extremely overpriced rooms! I was out over $800 and still had to get other hotel rooms for my travels. Never have I been so angry and disappointed.
If I had a negative rating I would have given that. One of the most disgusting hotel. The toilet in the bathroom was broken. The room was not cleaned and when we went to the front desk , they said we can’t replace your room. Then, the cleaning lady start knocking on the door around 8 am. Overall, the hotel in itself was very disappointing. I will never stay there and advice the same to others.
Been posted at Armon Plaza for a month by my current employer, Hotel was in renovation so they had to work on the room, I can understand that. The staff manager switched me room due to some schedule conflict. New room climatization was worse, so I had to switch rooms again, but this time on my request. Overall, communication with the staff was a bit hard but the manager made sure I was in good hands.
