Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary South-Macleod Trail S

We stayed during the family day long weekend, as we were in town for a soccer tournament all weekend. I have to say we have never had better service at a hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that I would never stay anywhere else while in Edmonton. They were more than accommodating for our team and made room for our pizza party and room for a movie for the girls. We had an issue with the pullout bed being a little uncomfortable for our girls. Instead of ignoring the problem they added a mattress on top and the girls never slept better. I have to say everyone from the front desk, morning staff at breakfast, and the cleaning staff were so friendly it felt like family. Thanks for all your hospitality! We really appreciated it. Nice hotel. Typical Holiday Inn Express. Not brand new, but in good shape. Rooms are modern and public areas well kept. Usual breakfast included. Started earlier than the posted 630 am start time when I was there, which was appreciated as I had an early flight.

Rooms are good and clean. People seem friendly and accommodating. But the breakfast. Let's just say stick to the packaged yogurt and dry cereal. Altjoughcthe pancakes were good as well the hockey puck or I mean turkey sausage and bacon and eggs were barely suitable for a dog. Cinnamon rolls were so hard I couldn't bite them. Maybe just a bad day but not a great impression. Everything else is great.

Great family place to stay, the kids loved the waterslide, spent most time there. Great place for families meet and get acquainted while kids in pool, also a hot tub and exercise room attached. Staff very personable and helpful. Rooms are good size and very clean. Will stay here again definitely. Price is reasonable.

Very Impressed with the accommodations and meeting rooms we booked this weekend to celebrate a family event. Rooms were clean, comfortable and very update. The staff bent over backwards to accomodate us, and all checked in to make sure we were happy (manager to housekeeping) The kids loved the pool area, and the catering we ordered was fantastic. Would book here again, and again!
