Moose Hotel & Suites

This might have been my favourite stay in Banff so far. It’s an amazing family hotel. In the middle of Banff walking distance to absolutely everything. The pools, inside and out are perfection. Our kids were up at 6am… no problem, the pool opened at 630am and we watched the sun come up in the hot tub with an outside temperature of -21’c. Staff amazing, so helpful, rooms utterly perfect for family. Literally the ONLY comfortable pull out couch I’ve ever stayed on. Thanks for having us. Loved my stay. If your reading this and have doubts about any other place in Banff. Don't look any further because the moose hotel should be the staple here. The reception ladies are absolutely amazing. The food is great and the beds are heaven

Perfect location in Banff. 1 building down from free ski shuttle to lake Louise or sunshine village. 1 block away from the main shopping areas but surprisingly still quiet. I am a light sleeper and had no issues at all with noise here. The rooftop hot tubs were lovely and a nice touch that they were different temperatures. Reception staff were very friendly. My only recommendations would be to have a water cooler in The lobby similar to the one in the spa with the fresh lemon/lime, and coffee would also be a nice touch. I think both hotels on either side have a cafe for quick breakfast, it would be nice if the moose had something like this so you didn’t have to go out in the cold in the morning. Also, we were never told about ski storage and that would have been nice to use instead of bringing to our room!

The Moose is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Banff. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure you feel welcome. The hotel offers a lot of great amenities, including a hot tub and a gym, which are perfect after a day of exploring the area. The underground parking is a bonus, and the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Banff. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with beautiful local artwork adding to the charm. Highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience!nMinus: The heating system was a bit noisy and would go on and off during the night, but overall, it didn’t affect the stay too much.

Staff was SO helpful. Helped book a last minute ride to the airport after I made a mistake on my bus booking. Answered questions and provided recommendations. Hotel was adorable and location is unbeatable.
