Moose Hotel & Suites

We stayed at The Moose and loved it. It was perfect for what we needed. We were only staying in Banff for 2 nights. We travel quite a bit and stay in many hotels, for what we paid, this place is GREAT. The rooms were lovely, beds are fabulous. Love the outdoor facilities sauna and hot pools. Clean, neat, cheerful and great staff at check in. The fireplace is real at reception, sooo lovely to hang around there to get warm after being out and about in the cold!!!! Very central to everything. Walk everywhere.

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooftop features a hot tub and sauna with mountain views. The rooms are comfy and spacious; the whole hotel smells good too. The staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area. Close walk to downtown. Finally, they have a fire in the lobby constantly burning-so warm and lovely!

I stayed at Moose Hotel and suites in November 2024. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had great views of the beautiful surroundings in Banff. Please see the attached videos and photos for photos of the room, as well as my commentary and thoughts. A note, there was a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. The hotel itself is very themed and fits in well with the aesthetic of Banff. The crackling fireplace in the lobby was amazing. It really added this fall/winter vibe to the entire feeling of staying at the hotel. I was at the hotel for a science workshop, and the conference room on the third floor was great. There were also lots of seating areas on the second floor, and the public bathroom was always clean. Bonus points for having fully closed installs with walls down to the floor. The hotel is situated right on the main drag Banff with lots of coffee shop options nearby, including the Whitebark Cafe which is immediately to the left of the hotel. I will be returning to Moose Lodge and suites next year in 2025 for the same science workshop, and I will update my review if there are any things I noticed good/bad. Some things I did not check out during my stay recently was the pool and hot tub which I hear are great, and I did not use the workout room.

Loved this place to be honest. Was very well built, cool decor, the wood, clean rooms, awesome outdoor tubs on the roof, and service was excellent. Would highly recommend and will bring more guests as long as rates don't get out of control.

What a fabulous experience. We were in Room 405. Mountain views from every window. The food was scrumptious and quick. The service was impeccable and ultra-friendly. Only one miniscule gripe: the showers were way too regulated for such a classy establishment. I asked but nothing was done about it. If they put on a half-flush for the toilets there would be no water issues. I highly recommend otherwise. Don’t stay at the Fairmonts if this hotel is available.
