Banff Aspen Lodge

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff at both the front desk and the cafe were very friendly! The only negative about the hotel is that there is no A/C .. We didn't realize this when booking that it says fan on website. There is A/C in the hallway and there is a vent in the ceiling that blows lightly cool air in the room but we still found the room hot. Unless you leave the balcony door open. Hot tub is nice to relax by. The fireplace is a nice touch to it! Cafe on the main floor was great! The staff there great and the Chia Latte is delicious! Definitely recommend!

Very well run establishment. The staff are kind and friendly with great knowledge of the area. Located on the main street means everything is in walking distance of the hotel. Inside, the rooms are clean and modern. The TWO hot tubs and sauna are gorgeous and soothing. Perfect for relaxing and easing any pains one might have. The breakfast area is well organized and has plenty of options for any person looking to eat the most important meal of the day. Certainly well worth stay at.

We stayed here in September 2016, The hotel is nice,had free parking(a little tight) The room was very nicely laid out, we had a balcony with our room,second floor. The view from the balcony was nice you could see the mountains. Road noise was there until about 930 as the hotel is right on the main drag. The only thing missing was there was no A/C in the room, this was a none issue as the nights where quite cool when we where there. Not sure if during the peak of summer what it would be like. The free breakfast was very nice. One bad thing we found was the elevator. it was very tight and a little spooky(seemed very old) We only used it to bring our luggage up to our room and back down when we checked out. The location was great for walking to the local shops and restaurants.

Awesome outdoor and indoor amenities ( 2 large hot tubs with fire place, sauna, steam room). The rooms look like they were recently reno'd as well. The free breakfast is not top notch with lots of different hot and cold options. Rooms are a bit tight for the price.

Decent sized king room with sitting area , smallish tub/toilet area with separate sink works just fine. Firm but comfortable bed. Check in service very efficient. Clean and neat building. Nice outdoor hot tubs in the court yard, sadly no mountain views from the tubs. Over all a decent stay.
