Hampton Inn Elmira/Horseheads

Very disappointed in the level of customer service. I spend over 225 nights a year at Hilton properties. I won’t be staying here again. I hope the owner of the property finds better management/front desk employees.

The staff here is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We stayed here while visiting family that live nearby and plan to stay here, during our next visit.nnThe rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were traveling with our dog and appreciated the designated pet relief areas that were right outside the back entrance of the hotel. Our dog also fell in love with the front desk staff, who happily offered dog treats and belly rubs every time he walked thru the lobby.

I had a nice stay. I was given a very nice room. It was comfortable. The internet never worked though. I went downstairs and the clerk said it was out and she would call and to check back in an hour. I was never able to get online. Same with the next morning. It wasn't a big deal, and might have been completely out of the property's control. But I would stay here again as I found the room clean and the staff was very helpful and nice.

We stayed here for a softball tournament weekend the first weekend of July. The hotel was very clean, especially our room. The beds were comfortable and the temperature in the room was easily adjustable. We had plenty of towels which is a first for us after staying at many hotels in the last two years. The complementary breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. The waffle maker was broken the first day and there were several people waiting to use it the second day so we didn't try. They kept all the food stocked. I really like the digital check-in and key cards at the Hilton/Hampton hotels. It makes things go more smoothly. We were really happy to be able to use the shared space off the lobby area for a team dinner the first night and to hang out during down time. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it!
