Budget inn & Suites Elmira

The workers are rude. Ignorant more like it. I had to bang on the phone just for it to work there were 3 plugin outlets and only 1 worked. I was changed rooms when I got the because the heat didn't work in the first room. All and all I will never return there

Review rating should have negative stars too!!.. worst experience!.. you want to read through this for sure- After re-confirming twice with hotel about our reservation.Upon arriving at the property the owner tells us that there is no reservation in our name 😡. If that was not enough the lady at front desk blames her own employee of her being not deciphering and understanding English ( who when we called for confirmed sounded American ); the only question asked was can you please confirm last name of the person in whose name the reservation was made. Please I suggest and if reviews do matter consider not to consider this place even if this is a last resort. My first instant bad review and I feel better now

The only reason this place get one star is because the girl at the front desk was very nice! Not to mention she helped us find the place while we were on the phone driving around... It was dark when we got there, the sign for the hotel was actually an old sign from when it was something else and did not match their new name. Also the entrance is very, very poorly lit! We drove by once, saw what we thought was some other hotel and kept driving, trying to figure out where google maps was sending us and why we were not finding the place. After turning around a few times, and searching google maps multiple times we got the girl from the front desk on the phone. All seemed well after that until we ended up driving past the place again because we couldn't see the entrance and missed it. It's one way down the street because it's also the on ramp for the highway. This is very confusing if your not familiar with the area as you start down it and next thing you notice is it seems your getting sent down back onto the highway when you were supposed to be pulling into your hotel. All this and we haven't gotten to the fact my girlfriend woke up itching, with bight marks on her. Yup, bed bugs!! Never, ever stay there again. I was afraid go in the house wearing any cloths or belonging when I returned home. Disgusting!

If you pay $55 for a room at a hotel, you don't expect much from it. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful even when we couldn't find the hotel thanks to Priceline not having the correct address. We got locked out of our room when the key reader "died" but they were very helpful in getting us back in. Everything seemed clean, but very outdated and it definitely needs some repairs/upgrades. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

Had to change rooms because the room I got had a dirt ring around the tub, the room was dirty some one just made the beds and the heat did not work
