Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Big Flats (Elmira), NY

I stayed a week, and it was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful staff. The rooms were large and cleaned daily. Fresh cookies were available every day. I loved my stay. The only suggestion I would have is that the TV in the lounge played the FOX News station nonstop....which was weird. Soft music to compliment the warm fireplace would have been more relaxing.

I was Very pleased with my stay here. One of the few local hotels, that i can walk in for my stay and feel welcomed. Rather than treat there guest as a burden to the staff, the staff treats you as if your Family visiting on a trip. The rooms are quite basic, but are clean with Semi-modern amenities, well lit, and reliable. The beds were not too firm, but much more than expected for a budget hotel. All of the vending machines, and ice dispenser were function on my visit. The pool was clean, and quite pleasant for a 10pm dip. Breakfast, much to my suprise, was served all day. which was wonderful, given i had to skip a few meals to keep on schedule, and having a bit of fruit on my return, made me all that more pleased with there service. While this hotel is quite basic, its service is impeccable, and quite satisfying to stay at. 10/10

Great place to stay! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and neat. Price was fantastic for a weekend getaway. We were very happy with our experience.

Stay was very friendly and helpful, love the longer hours for breakfast and especially loved how late the pool was open. I really didn't think the rooms were that amazing and the maintenance on the place was not done well like being able to see the redone wiring in the hall lights. But all in all it was good I'd stay again. Just wish they had better coffee

Great value if you are traveling to or through the area. From from the moment we walked in the door and until the morning after as I worked in the lobby and checked out, the staff was proactive, friendly, attentive, and busy keeping the place spotless. The hotel has a homey/lodge feel when you walk in with fireplace in the cozy waiting area. The smell of cookies baking made it feel extra cozy. The cookies were amazing! They are available all hours along with coffee and tea. There is a 24 hour fitness center and a pool with a “No Kid’s” time set aside and later hours than most hotels. I had a double reserved and was given a choice of floor. The room was furnished w a fridge, microwave and of course a flat screen, hairdryer, plentiful towels (yay!) and toiletries. Comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast included: juices, omelets, mini pancakes, sausage, waffles PLAIN yogurt (a big plus for me), oatmeal, fruit, toppings, cereal, and an assortment of pastries. The breakfast area was maintained by a friendly hostess that kept the area clean and stocked. Later in the day before check out as I worked in the breakfast area the staff asked if they could make anything more comfortable for me, offering to turn up/down lighting or turn off the TV, etc. Thank you for a great stay!
