They say you're lucky to have a family doctor but if yours is at this clinic like mine, it's not quite the case. It's almost impossible to reach them. When you call, if they're busy there's no voicemail so it just hangs up and tells you to try again later. I just tried for 3 weeks to get a hold of them because my pharmacist told me it was my last renewal for my medication. 3 weeks. I finally got through today and the secretary scolded me like a child telling me its my responsbility to be more vigilant and that 2-3 months before end of renewal I should be calling to make an appointment. I agree, I should have been more vigilant but I've also been trying for 3 weeks and you're not my mother. Not the first time having an unpleasant interaction. They have such a rude and superior attitude these secretaries. Like they're guarding the gates to heaven. So unhelpful and uncompassionate.
This is officially the worst clinic in the Province of Quebec. It's silly how bad it is.nnIf your family doctor is here, you may actually be better off not having one, because those that work here do not have the time/resources for you.nnThe staff is unhelpful most of the time, and think very highly of themselves.nnThe doctors are always overloaded, and so they take the given hour as a suggestion. But if you are a minute late you will get yelled at by the staff.nnThe waiting room is my personal hell.nnIt's very hard to hear who gets called and it's so badly organized that your outing which will absolutely take 4 hours at the minimum will tire you out, make you even more sick and make you wish you had an alternative.nnTL:DR - This place is a little fragment of hell, displaced from time and space and it only exist to torture you!
The secretary of family medicine is never present even during her specified 8 hours a week. the line is always busy or on a telephone responded. something need to be done to resolve this issue
an absolute horrible clinic. I've tried contacting them multiple times in a day, waiting on hold for hours, just to inform them that my doctor sent me another patient's prescription.
I recently visited this hospital for the first time due to some physical discomfort. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor I met was disappointing. She did not examine the area where I was experiencing pain and, within 15 seconds, declared it normal just by listening to my description. She seemed irritated and uninterested in a thorough examination. Typically, I would expect a hospital to at least check basic vitals like heart rate and blood pressure during a first visit, but none of that happened here. Often, patients don’t need medication but rather kind and comforting words, which were lacking in this case. I am left wondering if this treatment was due to my status, financial situation, or if it reflects the broader system in Canada.
