GoodLife Fitness Edmonton - South Park

Wanted to try the gym out with 2 friends that are members. There was no option for a try out visit although the website says I could get a week to try the gym out. They wanted me to pay $25 for a drop in. Bearded gentleman seemed like he could care less. We ended up going to a different gym that evening for our workout.

Lady who works at the front desk has the absolute worst energy. Instantly she looked me up and down and also refused to help me with any questions. Definitely need to work on customer service and making people feel comfortable in this type of setting.

Honestly it’s a ok gym, it’s big with lots of equipment and machines, but it’s getting run down, super dirty, dusty locker doors missing, mold on wall, kind of place You’d think a place like that would be top shelf and want to be super clean for the people I’d rather pay $15 at planet where it’s so clean

Sagar is a staff member at GoodLife South Park who consistently goes out of his way to make me feel uncomfortable because I declined his incredibly unprofessional invite to go out on a date. Ever since that time, he has gone out of his way to ignore me when I walk through the door and glares at me when I leave. It’s so uncomfortable and unprofessional. I’ve never experienced something like that anywhere else in my life.

I go to a few different GoodLifes in the city and this location stands out specifically for how friendly their staff are and how the clean the place is. There's constantly a smile on staffs' faces whenever I walk in and out. 10/10 would bench at again.

I usually go to Rabbit Hill location love it but this place is not clean, steam room not working, smelly, and not really up to the mark. Friendly and nice staff.

Pretty solid gym. It's pretty standard in a lot of ways. It has cardio, weights, etc. They attempted to create a small functional area, but it's just too small to really do anything. I've heard that they've added/are adding bumper plates and a lifting platform, so that's a step in the right direction.

Big shoutout to this enthusiastic and pleasant team!! Whether I’m in for a 5 am or afternoon workout they’re all so happy and energetic Staff always members always reach out to ask how was our workout, how was our day and all of that. The kind gentleman at the front today at 5 pm in particular made my day by asking about my Canada day plans something so simple but it goes a long way Another day one of the ladies complimented my shirt it just makes coming here that much more pleasant You can always expect to come here to a warm smile and friendly greeting when you enter and leave regardless of the time not enough star’s! Amazing team and classes available, 24/7 access, well maintained and cleaned equipment, lots of different machines, good parking situation, numerous fountains across the gym that are well kept, decent spacing and a huge women's only section that offers more than cardio machines and free weights

Terrible gym, showed up at 5 this morning and it had a temporarily closed sign. Maybe put that on the website? Had a separate incident where a patron was following me around and physically threatening me, management couldn’t deal with that either. Establishment is not clean, the only Goodlife in Edmonton that I absolutely dread going to.
