Excellent facility to promote our total wellbeing & health, providing variety of group fitness classes, updated strength machines, space for individual workouts, big swimming pool, qualified instructors, VIP-plus room, opportunity for socializing, friendly and welcoming staff. First time visit to this pool space. It was busy with kids summer swimming lessons. I was advised there were two swim lanes open. There was only one which was constantly held up by young adults in the middle of the lane which made it difficult to swim freely. I found myself patrolling the area and had to ask staff to intervene. They were young themselves and did not maintain control over it as a “swim” lane instead of a stand and socialize lane. I ended up leaving annoyed and disappointed in my failed attempt of a workout. I will be scoping out other pools to swim next time.

Great gym for basic fitness training. Friendly, helpful staff. Only issue to me is the heat. The William Lutsky YMCA is a non profit organization so I don't expect luxury, but it is VERY hot.

**BEWARE OF SUMMER CAMPS IF YOU HAVE YOUNG KIDSnnEscalations need to be treated seriously when one child hits another. We have been coming to camps for years & have never been in a scenario where counselors did not appear to have a good handle on the dynamics between kids. It’s completely ridiculous that my child is hit in the face unprovoked, then I receive a call that she was likely part of the problem, that she is friends with this other child - when instead she has been anxious about going to camp this week because of this other child.nnTrain your counselors to understand child guidance procedures appropriately per age group. Kids playing beside each other at younger ages does NOT mean they are friends. You are not ensuring a safe space for my child in your care.

The nice thing about this facility is that there are very few people lifting weights here as the demographic consists of primarily older adults. This means that weightlifting equipment is almost always available, but cardio machines are occupied at a higher rate. However, that means that the lifting atmosphere can be a little underwhelming because you'll often be the best lifter in the gym. Their rates are great for children, students, and seniors, but it seems like the average joe's are making up for that by paying more than you would at a similar-caliber facility.
