One of the best oyster happy hour! It was great so and the drinks! $1.50 ach in Canadian so it’s a lot less cost than Seattle and as yummy as we have. I wasn’t a fan of togarashi fried pork since it had bones in it, but my husband love it. He said it’s like a fried chicken but pork Wanna try different appetizers for sure and definitely more oysters!
Terrible service. Waitress was rude and completely ignored us. We watched her chatting to the bartender while waiting to ask for our bills. Burger fell apart in my hand and was not edible. When I told the waitress she said that's just how it is and did not take it off the bill. Do not recommend. Rude staff bad food. Photo of my "burger" after it fell apart and I had to try and eat the small dry pieces with a knife and fork. Came on a tiny plate I had to ask for a normal size one and disintegrated as soon as I picked it up. To top it off: does not include fries.
Trendy seafood restaurant with a great beer selection. I found the food overall pretty good, but seemed to lack a little extra....something. for example, the bouillabaise had a decent amount of seafood, but needed some wine or even a touch of curry. The brownie is huge and rich, but would have been actually better if a little smaller and maybe a bit of vanilla Gelato to temper the excessive super chocolate sweetness a tad and balance it with some creaminess. Service was stellar and loved a number of the beers.
Solid happy hour. Maybe the lowest priced oysters in town. The 3 Cheese Arancini appy and Changing Taco was my choice with 12 oysters and two happy hour beers. Just a touch over $50 with a 20% tip. That’s a good day.
Cool patio and nice ambience. It has a few choices for vegetarians. The servers were attentive and the food tasted good.
What an incredible happy hour. Lots of small bites to choose from and excellent drink deals. Very slow service unfortunately but the food and the deals make up for that.Recommended dishesMushroom and Beef Arancini
We had a fantastic late lunch of sharing plates that included fresh oysters, panko oysters, pork, beetroot and feta, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Can’t fault the speed of service, the food or the lovely Vic welcome. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Veg options on the menus Kid-friendliness: Child menu available Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free menu
The food was good and service excellent. The only reason I am giving this fewer than 5 stars is as a heads up to those of us who need light to see menus and music turned down. We needed mobile flashlights to see menus. Server very kindly turned music down for us so we could talk. One of our party was 95, and while he enjoyed the food, we felt a bit embarrassed to have taken him here where he couldn't really enjoy everything properly.
Incredible service and an excellent seafood selection you won't find most places put this restaurant above others. They also have a great happy hour menu that should not be overlooked, 3-6pm.Food: 5/5
Come for the happy hour and oysters! It’s always been an old favorite of ours, but the price has gone up a lot over the years. Friendly and ambiance. Wish they had a bigger beer selection!
