So very good, very fresh and excellent texture for vegetables. We ordered the prawn fried rice and Ginger chicken with vegetables with a side of plain rice. The flavours of the dishes mix very well. For dessert we had the Chef's special Mango sticky rice with coconut milk, so so very good! They are very accommodating with gluten and spice levels. Excellent food, super friendly staff, highly recommended!
Everything here was phenomenal. Other than the pad Thai tasting somewhat generic, honestly loved it. Green curry, spring rolls, and the chicken skewers were so good. Would definitely come back next time!
The food was really good! First time trying this place, the vibe in here is so cute and it says it’s the first Thai restaurant in Victoria since 1990! The papaya salad was nice balanced flavour with sour sweet and a bit hint of spicy. The green curry was soooo good! Creamy and not too rich or too sweet. The noodles was really good too! I like this better than pad Thai! Would definitely go back there and try more of their food The coconut soup is so creamy and so good! Never had such rich soup before! It’s well balanced with lemon flavour in it
Pretty authentic Thai food. Green curry was excellent and when my father in law ordered a dish witb pork neck the waitress came back and advised us that most westerners don't like that cut of meat because it's very fatty...which I thought was honest and well approached. He changed to a beef dish and all was good after that. Pretty sure it's a family business because they were very interested in making sure we were happy with our food.
Ordered the fried calamari, chicken curry and chicken fried rice lunch specials. Quantity was perfect, taste exquisite and service was good. They didn’t have all the beers but the food more than supplemented the shortcoming. Recommend to all craving amazing Thai food in an original authentic ambience near Wharf Street!! Kudos to the staff!
Great tasting food at excellent prices. Ordered the Pad See Ew, it was fresh, vibrant and punchy with flavour. This dish often suffers from being one-dimensional and oily, but this was certainly not the case here! The service wasn't anything amazing, but was polite and efficient. It's a shame that the mango sticky rice dessert was sold out on the day I was dining. Definitely a spot I will return to!
First experience of Thai food and it was amazing. I got the Thai iced tea but unfortunately did not get any pictures of that but i fell in love so quick! It was perfectly sweet but not too sweet and the right amount of creamy! I definitely recommend. I got Pad Thai and i absolutely loved it, the serving sizes were huge so i didn’t finish it all but it was amazingly delicious. It wasn’t too salty like my friend complained some Thai restaurants can make it. Only thing i would say is that it wasn’t spicy, even though i got medium heat. I was opting for max heat because i’m pretty tolerant of spice but the waitress said it’s really spicy even on medium so i got that instead. Didn’t turn out spicy. I would say even with the lack of spicyness, it was still tasty and it gets all 5 stars. Another thing to add, the price of the food was a bit costly but I would say I got my moneys worth.
Great portion, good service. If you want to try authentic thai taste, you can make a request and they can make it for you. - I like Tom Kha Gai & Pad see ew
Pad Thai was great. The other dishes we had were very good, but I've had better. Still enjoyed the meal though. Love Thai flavors!
Nice cozy place in Downtown Victoria that happened to be open during a snowstorm. They were about to open in 20 minutes, we asked if we could sit inside till they opened and they were kind enough to let us in. We ordered some Spring Rolls to share, fish curry with bamboo shoots and beef dish from their Chef Specials. Spring rolls were huge and delicious and the fish curry was probably the best I've ever had. Beef dish was like a 7/10. Highly recommend ordering some rice with the fish curry. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our experience a lot!
