Very good place to stay in Vancouver and reasonably priced compared to other hotels. It's a convenient location, the staff is helpful, and the beds are comfortable. Cleaning crew did a great job. Would have liked a microwave in the room and earlier breakfast options. Other than that we were satisfied with our stay.
I had no complaints with the hotel. It was pricey, but most hotels in Vancouver are. It was close to many areas we wanted to go within walking distance or quick Uber The room was clean. It had 5 of the bigger towels, so we didn’t need yo ask for any more the whole stay. The wallpaper was peeling off near the door, but that didn’t effect the cleanliness or anything of the room. Had a fridge, but no microwave. Had a safe, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Staff were friendly and usually greeted us when we entered. Has a hot tub, no pool. Has breakfast available. Easy check out, can just drop the keys in a drop off box at the front.
Stayed here over the weekend using my Executive Rewards Points. Check-in staff is pleasant and helpful and the concierge is super friendly. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is great, easy to walk to catch water taxi to Granville Island and to downtown shopping areas. Had to rush to the ferry so didn’t get the folio at check out. A few confusing charges appeared on my credit cards but settled over the phone. Need improvement in communications!
Staff was very friendly and polite. Rooms were clean n new bathrooms added a nice finish! Loved the break fast too. Bellman was very knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations around the vicinity. Will be back again!Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel. All of the staff were great, especially Wagner. He gave us a complimentary ride to dinner in a beautiful X5. He was so polite, professional, and kind. He is a great representative for this hotel. We will definitely be coming back!
While hotels in Vancouver are generally expensive, you would definitely find better use for your dollar elsewhere. While the location is convenient for downtown exploration or those coming off the Canada Line train, the hotel is located next to a highway with poor sound proofing. Poor design choices in the room such as misalignment between the bed and TV make for an uncomfortable experience. But most issues stem from the subpar customer service of the hotel. Firstly, the room wasn't ready for check in at 3pm, was left forgotten in the lobby for this late check in and no apologies, front desk person was chewing gum the entire time she served customers, and when I called to report a broken mini bar, the front desk staff tried to convince me that the warmer temperatures were part of the design. In short, this is one of the few venues where I did not feel welcomed at all. As such, this hotel should only be on your "only choice left" list if there is no suitable accommodation elsewhere. UPDATE: I revised this review down to one star from two, due to a very unsafe broken fitness room, and a non-functioning jacuzzi. I also had to wipe the water off the broken minibar fridge myself as the front desk was indifferent to my problem. I highly DO NOT recommend this place.
We stayed here in July. Amazing location as it was close to a great harbour area, restaurants and fresh food market but still very quiet. The downtown shuttle was a really nice perk- thank you Chris and Dean! Front desk very helpful and hotel was very clean.
I am currently staying at this hotel. The rooms look nothing like they do online. Front desk staff is less than helpful. There is currently no power to the hotel. My husband is currently showering in pitch black and I have no way to blow dry my hair. This place is an absolute dump. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to stay here.Rooms: 1/5
My stay here was incredible. The team from the front desk, to the shuttle provided by Wagner & Kris, to the room service were all very friendly and kind. They were all extremely helpful in helping me navigate my time in Vancouver. The room was clean and well kept.
So I was ‘stuck’ in Vancouver awaiting flights etc. the team here is absolutely incredible. Nice little wine tastings in the lobby and exceptional service from the front desk staff Daniel and Sheba!! Absolute gems! Also the concierge wagnar went completely above and beyond for me and drove me to pick up luggage and back when cab wait times were over an hour long due to weather. I also had a total meltdown the day I left due to travel stress and misplacing my wallet . They were incredibly sweet and helpful. I honestly can’t say enough about the customer service and extra kindness shown through stressful travel times.
