Economy Rent A Car

I could be more mad but at the same time I have to laugh a little. I have traveled to a good number of place and never been scammed. Then I decide to go to Canada and rent a car from here. I am to blame for not digging into their reviews and researching the company. I am not to blame for the additional $246 USD they charge me. O' Canada please do something about this horribly representation of your country. Otherwise the people in Canada were friendly and accommodating.

Went there recently . I don’t know where all these bad reviews are for ... counter agent Anish explained to me nicely how things were . I like most people don’t care to read policies but in life sometimes to protect yourself you should read the policies and not book it because it’s cheep . I had no issues . I paid for what I got and was happy with the service . Apon return a few customers were berating the counter agent due to unlimited millage but what they failed to realize is it’s unlimited millage in the province of Quebec only and not limited to local renters . I was supposed to get 200 kms a day but Anish was nice enough to give me 250kms a day even after he was berated by others . I would rent from here again . Thank you Anish for the nice new rogue

Do not rent from here. AVOID at all costs. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. The manager or front desk clerk was extremely rude. He threatens to charge you even if you decide to not take the car and is very aggressive. He tries to sell you third party liability insurance whether you have purchased other insurance directly from expedia or not. They end up adding random extra fees which don't make them any cheaper. They also take a $650 security deposit when you pick up the car and "charge you after." They are not located at the airport and their shuttle driver is also extremely rude. You can not drop off at their location after hours you have to drop off at an Econolodge and you get charged an extra fee for it. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I can not express this enough... DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

If you are reading this review prior to giving this company your credit card information, you are one of the lucky ones. I share the sentiment of the majority of reviews here that one star is, indeed, far too generous. I made the mistake of not looking at reviews until it was too late. Everything from customer service (a manager yelling at you asking "why would you rent from a company rated 1.2 stars??") to bogus charges led me to cancel my booking in the office and get a shuttle back to the airport to rent with a reputable company. This was on principle despite the $50 cancellation fee which, as it turns out, is not actually $50 but $67 as was charged to my credit card. I have never had such a negative experience with an organization and recommend you save yourself the trouble and rent from a real company. There are a lot of great options in the Montreal airport parkade that allow you to walk to catch your flight, including: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty.
