Huey called a day early to see if he could swing by on his way home to fix my broken LG LED TV backlight! I gladly accepted and all in all it took him about 45 mins to tear it down and replace all the LED strips in my living room. Very nice guy and took care in his work with my TV. Very impressed with the great service and professional house call, not so impressed with my 3 yr old LG TV taking a crap on me. Luckily, LG fixed it free of charge on a recall. Will never bug LG again, will definitely use DuPont again if the need arises.

I was sent by samsung canada to dupont. electronics. They took the tv and unplugged the main power source. Luckily I went to duke electronic that I found on kijiji.ca with same day service and much cheaper The Duke electronic price was 250 dollars And dupont charged 800 dollars to fix backlights plus 40 dollars for check up

I was referred to Downtown Dupont Electronics by Samsung. Called them this morning. Spoke to Peter who was very nice over the phone and sent someone this evening as I wasn't home this afternoon. The technician also named Peter arrived on schedule and was very polite and friendly. Fixed the problem in no time! Walked me through the whole thing. I was totally satisfied. He even went as far as to tell me that if anything else went wrong that since I payed the service charge of $67. he would come back at no charge. It's much different than when I went to Best Buy and the guy told me to throw my flat screen away and buy a new one for $700-$800 since he said my 2010 TV was "too" old!!! He even went as far as telling me that if I could afford Gucci glasses that I should buy a new TV...That's it for me and BB!!!... I would recommend them anytime! Sometimes, the way you talk to people makes the whole difference.
