distance runwear is a specialty running shop focused on helping you run any distance in more style, comfort and with better form.

Story

distance runwear was started by Dave and Meghan Cressman both have numerous years of experience in retail. Dave has been an active long distance runner since the age of 11 and has participated in some amazing events locally and around the world including the famous Marathon des Sables. We carry functional and fashionable clothing, useful things and of course a selection of the best footwear for road and trail. We specialize in Ultra distance events and in footwear that encourages a natural more efficient gait.

Hands down my favorite place to shop for running gear. Dave is very knowledgable and patient and can really help you pick good shoes. Since I started running he has been a huge help in so many ways. Prices are reasonable too!

The staff were friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful in assisting me with picking up a new pair of runners and boots. They have a good selection of minimalist footwear.

This store changed my life. Got into running barefoot style and now I am addicted. If you want to perfect your form its all about zero drop, wide toe box, minimalist shoes. All available at distance runwear. If you are within the Greater Vancouver Area I highly recommend checking these guys out.

If you need real expert advice on running footwear,look no further - this is the place to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable. They won't sell you shoes if they don't think they will fit your use. They carry shoe models that are not available in the mainstream retail stores. This is going to be my go to store for running gear in the future.

Walked in looking for a shoe that only they carry and tried on several other brands to compare and walked out one happy man with a pair that were recommended and what a difference plus cheaper than what I was looking to buy, thanks for your patience!!!
