I would like to thank Dr Collette and his staff for their kind attention a couple of cases in the past month. Both my husband and I required medical attention for two different situations. We found Dr Collette knowledgeable as he tended to our needs, even writing a letter for Urgent Care for my husband. I received a script for an infected hornet sting, which worked very well, thankfully. The staff I found to be pleasant and efficient too. As well, waiting time was short. Thanks so much!
If I could give this place no stars I would. Dr. Collette is very insensitive, could care less about actually talking about medical issues as well as does not give any information on prescribed medication instead expects you to just take it and be happy. I would avoid this place at all costs. This is not a doctor that should be working with people.
I've been here twice and I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. The doctor, who hasn't introduced himself on either occasion, doesn't seem to care about his patients. The first time I went there I had a wound on my knee and the doctor didn't wash his hands or wear gloves to inspect it. The second time was the same where the doctor again didn't wrsr gloves to inspect an animal bite I recieved. I was in a lot of pain and trying to ask him about the possible allergic reaction I had to the bite and the doctor just walked out of the room. I was shocked. He didn't even offer any suggestions about how to bring down the swelling/hives I was having. I had better treatment Googling my own symptoms!
If you come 3 hours before they close they will refuse to see you. There was 5 people in the waiting room, and they closed at 6pm and wouldn’t take me in. Though I had called a couple of hours ahead and said if I was there before 3 they would be able to see me. They care about the doctor getting out of there on time vs patient’s wellness.
Don’t go here they refuse patients within 3 hours of closing so the doctor can get home on time.. pretty sad when another clinic that closes an hour earlier will see my sick wife but not you guys. I will never be back to this clinic and I’ll make sure the family I have in the area won’t either.
This place used to be good, but no anymore. The old man doctor didn't even bother to check my kid he just gave him antibiotics without knowing when it was the last time he took it.
Dr Brar is more interested in his patients showing him respect than he is at helping the patient. I saw him and explained what had happened at Rockyview hospital and asked for an enhanced image as suggested by the ER doctor. He said no. So I stood up to leave as he was not helping and he stepped in front of to why, why are you disrespecting me? I wasn't I said. Simply going to see another Dr who would help. Not going back. He really is short on self confidence.
The receptionist and nurses were very nice and welcoming. I have to say I was very disappointed in the doctor that saw me though. He was an older gentleman who couldn't even look me in the eye. Walked in took one quick look at me without asking me any questions and handed me a prescription. No explanation as to what was going on with me or why I should take the medication. I felt very confused. I ended up going to the pharmacy next door at shoppers and the pharmacist did a way better job at assisting me then the actual doctor. It seemed like he really just wanted to get people out the door.... would not recommend going here if you can avoid it.
I really enjoy coming to this clinic to see Dr.Collette. I think he is extremely good at his job, and very thorough. However, they need new receptionists here. They are awful and lack basic communication skills. They are very rude and unprofessional. I will be looking for a better medical clinic just because of the receptionists.
I don’t recommend the clinic at all. The receptionists and nurses are nice but Dr Colette is an awful doctor..probably the worst walk-in doctor I’ve ever seen. He never washed his hands and didn’t wear gloves when taking a throat swab SUPER gross… and he never took a blood pressure or any other vitals with his assessment. He also did a poor job with the swab <2 seconds and should have been closer to 10seconds for accurate results. I literally had to ask them to take a blood pressure since my husband had been extremely dehydrated in the past 12-24hrs. He doesn’t have any idea of what he’s doing and at the very least should have basic hand hygiene in a pandemic. Please please don’t see him if you’re actually sick. It was a waste of time and will have to see another doctor. Please note: I’m a front line health care worker in the ICU so please take my rating seriously.
