I visited this clinic for the first time today and had a wonderful experience! The front desk staff was super kind and very informative of the wait times for anyone that asked. She was very friendly and just lovely to deal with! I saw Dr. Dangerfield and she gave me stitches and did a fantastic job! I didn’t feel a thing after the freezing of course! I will definitely be coming back and will be bringing my family as well. Totally recommend.
My son and I saw Dr. Dangerfield on Dec. 3rd, 2022. She was thorough with her questions and listened intently. We haven’t received this level of care in a long time. I was extremely impressed with her taking the time to explain her diagnosis and what certain medications would do. The nurse at the front was alone and she handled things very well as well; professional, polite, and calm.
Dr. Dangerfield is amazing! I stopped by as a walk-in because my knee injury wasn't getting any better. Urgent Care had sent me home with pain meds, nothing more. Dr. Dangerfield really listened to how the injury happened and said this is a telltale sign of a bucket handle meniscus tear. She set me up for an ultrasound and MRI quickly. And sure enough, she was right! She also called me within hours of receiving the results! I was impressed by her listening skills, medical knowledge, caring attitude and taking the right action for me quickly. Great doctor!
I went here as a walkin patient today after a very negative experience with another doctor at a different clinic. I saw Dr. Dangerfield who treated me with kindness, respect and understanding. It was such a relief to be seen by a doctor who treated me this way. I was also seen quite quickly and the front desk staff were very efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this clinic based on my experience here.
Went in to see a doctor and I don't have a physical copy of my health care card. This has never been an issue with any clinic or hospital I have ever been to before. Apparently it was an issue for this clinic, even though they have Alberta health online resources to easily look up a health care number associated with my name and driver's license. So I guess I need to go to a registry, order a new one, wait 5 to 10 business days and then I can get medical attention from this clinic... Seems unreasonable for a walk in clinic to do this when there is a simple solution that the government literally provides resources to them in order to accomplish that solution. They cited patient privacy, and potential fraud as the reason they couldn't perform the Alberta Health number look up. Just doesn't seem right. Edit: Despite their response most likely by the receptionist at the desk who denied me, based on the speed and tone of the reply highlighting the recommendation by the government, I still feel this isn't right because it is just setting up another hurdle for people in need of health care. They can blame the people above them all they want, when in reality most if not all of us have been in my situation or had a loved one in a similar situation where they didn't have their physical copy of their health care card on them, however they hadn't been denied because the receptionist was able to use the government provided tools in order to both look up and verify an Alberta health care number so I do feel justified in feeling this frustration. Chalk it up to a less than accommodating receptionist, poor policies in place by management, growing pains due to recent policy changes, or maybe I'm way out to lunch and have nothing better to do than complain! The choice is up to whoever bothers to read this far!
A great walk-in clinic that’s open late, and is able to help quickly without a long waiting period. The receptionists and Dr. Dangerfield are all very kind, friendly, non-judgemental and accommodating. I highly recommend this walk-in, and to request Dr. Dangerfield. I am unsure why the reviews are so low.
WORST walk-in I've ever been to. My daughter was diagnosed with COVID WITHOUT even being seen by Doctor. Turns out her covid test was negative and she actually has TONSILLITIS!! Told to wait in car for a phone consult. Receptionist forgot about my daughter so an hour later when I went to find out what was happening we suddenly got the phone call. COVID test done by a pharmacist, test was negative. Will NEVER go to this clinic again.
Website says they are open until 2. Get there at 12:30 and they are no longer taking patients because of the high number of patients…1 person sitting there. Girl at front doesn’t even acknowledge us. Just goes about her business. As well…they are not friendly any other time we have been there. Smiling at someone is a huge way to make someone feel comfortable. Printing out the phrase that you accept what you are signing is a waste of time. You literally have to PRINT OUT…”I acknowledge what I just signed”! I will drive further to get some help
Nice & professional staff at the Walk-in clinic. Got there first thing in the morning and had only a few people ahead of me so didn't have to wait for long. Had experiences with both Dr. Jagdeep Doulla & Dr. Brett Hollowell over the years and they have both been very professional, good listeners, and helpful with my concerns. Will definitely use Braeside on 24th again for future walk-in clinic needs.
I have some crazy anxiety, and other issues. I have been coming to this clinic for over a year now. My family Dr is Dr brochu, but I have seen every single Dr here and they are all pretty amazing and understanding. I have never felt rushed, Dr brochu answers my questions and knows how to deal with my "crazy-ness" without making me feel crazy at all. They are all awesome Drs and the girls are the front are pretty friendly and pretty great too this is a very busy clinic, these girls are constantly multitasking and despite that they are always welcoming I feel like I am in the clinic every week and they always treat me well...
