A really nice walk in clinic.i was able to go there on the same day I called. Arrived early and they took me in early. Very nice staff, receptionist, tecnician assistant and doctor. I am from Ontario, go there if you are unwell. Many thanks to the people there, thank you!
Very disappointed in the care and consideration or rather lack there of from this clinic. Both my elderly mother and I have now had terrible experiences. A couple months ago my mom suffering from Shingles pain went and was given a prescription for a very tiny tube of ointment for treatment ridiculous as it was all over her back and this tube wouldn't even cover the back of her hand. It was $60 and not covered under her medical plan AND was useless. She went to her regular doctor who treated her properly. Then on Monday I went and explained that I suspected Strep Throat I've had it before and was dismissed that no I just had a common cold. I got a voice mail on Wednesday from the doctor but he mumbled into the phone and I couldn't decipher what he was saying. When I called back less than 10 minutes later the Receptionist who was very kind told me that my results came back positive for Strep but the doctor had left for the evening and I was unable to get a prescription to start treatment even though there was another doctor right there. WHAT!!! I ended up picking up the Lab Results oh that were sent the day before! and had to go to another walk in clinic to get a prescription filled. An unnecessary drain on the system. Seriously.
I have had a very horrible experience here. The doctor always runs late. 1 hour plus with an appointment is average time. I have waited something close to 2 hours as well. I feel walk in faster in other clinics with an appointment here. The doctor is not good either. They call you to come in urgently like something very seriously is wrong in your lab results when you get there in a panic mode turns out there is nothing serious, that's just how their system is. Even after a million complaints no one does anything to do anything within the system. Seriously I don't understand why anyone would go here when there are so many good doctors in the area. Also the service of admin is horrible, basically a Robert would be better. She scans documents and assures people that they are in as a family doctor and drops them as a patient saying later on. The doctor Keeps on sending you for like 5-6 tests if u just tell him u had a heart burn last night and of course scares you till you pee in you pants that you can have these horrible diesels. When u go in go these tests and get the results, the results are generally inconclusive or one test was not done properly so u go through the cycle again and even after all this exercise u never get an answer. It looks like a scam to get in patients and keep them coming as often as possible. Seriously incompetent and a huge drain on the system. Save your time and effort and go to any other doctor in the area in the west brook or corner of 85 th and old Banff coach road to name a few.
My mother, who experienced sudden, acute hearing loss, came in to get an urgent referral to an ENT specialist and prescription for the medication. She came home devastated, saying the receptionist was laughing at her and getting frustrated that she couldn't hear what she was saying. apparently my mom could not understand whether she should wait in the waiting area or go in right away, so the receptionist had to get off her chair to show her in Even worse was that the doctor she saw that day, Dr. Hamouda, was visibly frustrated with her as well. Asking her what language she spoke. Like that would've made a difference. Even though English is a second language for my mom, obviously, that was not the reason why she could not understand what he was saying, she just couldn’t hear him. I regret booking that appointment for her in that clinic. Staff and the doctor made her fill belittled and humiliated. And this is all right at the time when she is dealing with a potential threat of becoming fully deaf. TERRIBLE, terrible, terrible. No empathy whatsoever. People who work there should be ashamed of themselves, Dr. Naidu should be reminded how to treat patients with disability. If you can, avoid this clinic at all cost.
Went in with a fever of 39.4 and a cough and cold I’d had had for 4 days told the dr I was short of breath and could feel cracking on the right side of my chest. The doctor did a very basic exam didn’t listen to my chest much at all didn’t even take my bp or fever then said “ what would you have me do? I could give you antibiotics but I think you should come back if your not better in 4 days or if your fever goes up past 40. When I disagreed he shrugged his shoulders so I decided to give it a couple more days. 3 days later I was so sick I couldn’t go more then 4 hours without taking something for the fever so I we to another doctor turned out i had pneumonia and if I had waited another day or so I could have been hospitalized. I called his clinic and let them know and the receptionist basically just said I’ll let him know thanks for letting us know I felt very dismissed but just because I didn’t have a degree in medicine I couldn’t advocate for my own symptoms and that I was just somebody looking for a quick fix prescription. I would simply recommend listening to your patient if they are telling you specific symptoms I would investigate those symptoms instead of just dismissing their concerns like they don’t know what they’re talking about because sometimes they actually do.
We are all suppose to wear masks in public areas. The receptionist that checked me in wore hers under her chin the entire time. AB Health Services wants to preach to all of us to wear a mask and their own employees do not follow suit. I do have a picture to prove this but thought I should not exploit her on Google Reviews. The doctor I seen was very professional.
Dr. Sahota is the best doctor I've ever had. I have lived in 5 cities and he blows everyone out of the water. He may run late but that's only because he cares. He will never cut you short so his timing is better. He wants to make sure that you are taken care of and your questions are answered. I have health issues that have bothered me for over 15 years and no one would take the time to figure out what was going on. He sent me for testing and to specialist until we found out what was going on. He is genuinely a wonderful caring person.
This clinic is so disorganized. The receptionists are usually rude and don't care to actually help you with anything. Dr.Bialy is a nice person, however, he forgets to fill out paperwork for other scheduled appointment or he doesn't even send them in or look at them. He sent me to wrong specialists... that was frustrating to say the least. If you call to get something filled out.... good luck. Most of the time they tell you they will send a note, which never gets answered, and then you have to keep calling and following up and then the receptionists argue with you and tell you they cant do anything for you. most of the time you wait about an 45 to an hour past your appointment to see the doctor. I feel like if someone is being paid to take care of your well-being they should actually care a little bit... unfortunately it doesn't seem like they care much here.
If this was the last walk-in clinic in the city I wouldn't return....it's embarrassing that people like this are allowed to practice...seeing Mohamed Hamouda was nothing but a waste of time and Alberta health's money. Additionally, the girl at reception was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience even though I was the only one there. When Mohamed Hamouda the guy who calls himself a doctor finally saw me, he seemed to not care about the issue I went in for and just went on and on about my cholesterol and how high it was and how I needed cholesterol medication, but wouldn't show me the results he referred to. I followed up with my normal family doctor the next week and was shown my cholesterol results from the last 4 years verifying that I am well within the normal range and did not need medication...everything Hamouda told me was wrong.
Dr. Sahata is one of the physicians at Coach Hill Medical clinic and my family doctor. He is the best physician I have ever known and without his help I wouldn't have been here today. With his help and intellect he made it possible that I get the best medical treatment available for me and my family. He is so passionate about his job and treats everyone with care. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a family doctor
