Dave's Diner

The food was amazing! A simple breakfast has never tasted this good . You can tell they use quality produce. Most definitely go again !

Perhaps the first time I've ever felt ripped off at a diner. Stopped in today with my family for a light lunch. Cost over 40 dollars. I had a club sandwich. My wife asked for two poached eggs and 2 pancakes. Ordered peach pancakes. Received plain, sad looking discs. Remarked they were supposed to be peach. 3 minutes later we find out they are out of peaches. Got apple cinnamon instead. Pretty pitiful topping. Got billed $8 for the pancakes! And then $2 for the eggs. Then extra for the the apples and cinnamon. I spent $13 on Her breakfast, which most places would have been less than half that. At a place like coras, for $24 you'd get something impressive. Not sad. Kids split a burger and fires. And got juice. Again, billed $2.65 for each juice. Those tiny little ones. Thank goodness my wife and I had only water. Or I might be taking out a second mortgage to finance the meal. I can't in good conscience ever eat here again. I don't know if it was because we are from out of town and not a familiar face and thus an easy mark. Next time, for less money I'll just hire a limo to take me to Joe's Diner in Stratford and pocket the savings.

Dave's diner is a great place to eat and just to take a load off, nice food , excellent courteous staff and excellent clean facilities. Go to daves diner try the bacon poutine its bomb I stop almost everytime im going pass there.. go enjoy the sensation guys :-)
