Two unique dining experiences in beautiful downtown Stratford

The Taverna

With chef Yva Santini’s Italian kitchen, Taverna at Pazzo has brought a brand new direction to the city’s main corner. In the kitchen, sustainable seafood joins house made pastas and gnocchi along side locally sourced steaks and produce. Taverna offers affordable food and wine in an energetic, convivial setting taking it’s cue from the neighbourhood restaurants of New York.

The Pizzeria

In our cellar the focus is on thin-crust pizzas and pasta. Service is quick and friendly; groups are easily accommodated in our large dining room, but reservations are a must. A good selection of wines by the glass, cocktails and beer are offered at our bar, a popular meeting-place after the play.

My favourite pizza place ever! My family and I have been visiting Pazzo for about five years now, and our experience has been consistently positive. The service is always attentive and friendly, and the food is beyond delicious! The best pizza to order is cheese with sun-dried tomato, basil and balsamic - hits the spot every time. We also like sharing a salad to start; our favourite is the arugula with candied walnuts, apples, and blue cheese. 10/10 recommend! This is a must-visit spot whenever we’re in Stratford, especially on Fridays when the pizzas are $10. Pazzo is definitely worth the visit.
Our team went here after a game. Service was quick & friendly. We had a group of 20, and our server handled us with kindness and professionalism. I wish I had remembered his name. Most of us ordered pizza, and everyone was happy with the taste. The ceasar salad tasted fresh and great. The spaghetti and meatballs was also very delicious. The addition of table bread with the balsamic dip was very delicious. I'll def be back again! My only complaint is that the glasses of water they give you are so small and they should just leave bottles of water at the table. We had to ask for one near the end. It would have been nice if it was automatic.
A nice cozy restaurant.The staff is very friendly and helpful.nnThis restaurant serves outstanding veg and non-veg pizzas. We had ordered 2 veg and 1 non-veg pizza and all of them very absolutely delicious.nnWe Will surely visit this place again for their pizzas and the Tiramisu as a finishing dessert!
I stopped in for lunch with a colleague and one of his friends. We all ordered a one of the pizzas each and I had a side Caesar salad as well. I have to say that I wasn’t expecting the Caesar to be so good, it was excellent. The Italian Stallion pizza was also good but if I go back I will order the large Caesar salad. The staff are very friendly. We also ordered some soft drinks and one person had a cappuccino. The bill was $120 with tip which was reasonable for what we had.
Excellent service.nPizza was cooked perfectly, and was very tasty. The Burrata was fresh and delicious. The house bread was great too.
