I’ve been visiting Bentley’s restaurant/bar for years since 2012 at least and have never left disappointed. Our last trip there was for a girls’ night and we had a blast. Their goodies always delicious, their menu changes frequently enough to keep things interesting but not too frequently, and their drinks are some of the best. Definitely recommend.
Excellent spot close to everything. Food is great love every one of their apps , friendly service from both bar and servers. Haven't stayed in a room but seen one and they look great, definitely on our list to stay soon. Definitely worthy of a new regular spot!
I loved the service and the food. I came with a big group but there was space for us even without reservation. They were accommodating with food substitutions when possible and everything was to my taste. I had the daily soup and half sandwich and honestly was one of the best soups I had in a while. I would come again next time I'm in Stratford. I also wanted to book a room, but space for larger groups seemed limited so I'm satisfying myself with just the food!
We've been here plenty of times. The food is good, nothing outstanding, but good.nnWe went in tonight and they were quite busy, as a show was getting out down the street. The deal here is to seat yourself, so we did. A few moments later someone came up and said to talk to the guy in the white shirt, then he just threw a reserved sign on our table, no explanation. When I asked the guy with the white shirt if there were any tables he just shook his head. Didn't say a word and looked away. I asked if everything was reserved, he just nodded. And barely acknowledged me. Didn't say one word to me and just stared at his little piece of paper. When we walked away a server told us the man in the white shirt could help us, I told them he didn't help at all and she gave a funny look. I get that they were busy because a show must have just ended, but that doesn't excuse the terrible way we were treated. Just horrible way to treat local customers. We won't be back for a long time.
We ate at the restaurant, recently. Party of 10. The food was DELICIOUS and I am really picky about restaurant food. The service was top notch. Atmosphere was perfect. I don't eat out often, live an hour away, etc.... however I would make the drive back, knowing I'm gonna eat well and be treated well. Great job!!
