The Parlour Steakhouse

Have been to the Parlour several times over the years and am normally quite satisfied. However, I took my daughter there this past Friday night and I ordered the Steak and frites. Had to send the steak back as it wasn't cooked to order and still wasn't when it was returned to me. Our waitress was excellent, thought it would be appropriate to discount our bill for the error but the manager didn't agree. Won't be back there anytime soon.

I'm surprised I had a bad experience. We had booked a reservation and were told we'd be placed in the dining area. When we arrived, we were asked to sit in the lounge and "there's really nothing we can do" eventually the found us a table in the dining room. I found the host rude after that and no one talked to us until i asked a waitress if someone was looking after our table. The waitress was nice but that's about all. The food was very salty and underappealing. The desert we had tasted way over baked. Unfortunatly, giving this a 2 star review is being generous. Overall, I wouldn't recommend to friends or family.

Arrived at 4:53 pm and it wasn't busy at all there were max 3 other tables of people and we waited for over an hour to receive our food. We ordered burgers and The waitress said they take long to cook. Meanwhile we've been there for 3 years and ordered burgers before and it's never taken longer than 20 minutes. So now it's 6pm and the food arrives. The burgers were completely burnt! So it was a waste of time and we didn't get our whole meals free.
