Sunday evening dinner and when we arrived it was very quiet. There is a small patio at the front but we elected for inside. A stylishly decorated place nice seating area, bar and an area at the back for large parties. My partner ordered ribs but found the portion too small and it came with a ridiculously small salad and nothing else. (thumbs down) His Black Swan EPA was really good. Food was v/tasty and they accommodated a menu change for my daughter very graciously. However for $16 the pasta portion was small even for her! We were charged for bread, which arrived toasted but *cold* - so thumbs down. Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the decor, and service, but for the price we paid, we will not return.

We went in for a glass of wine. The house is sweet, OK, so we ordered a Chardonnay as a second glass. Looking at the menu, the waitress suggested half corn on the cobs..these were dried out half cobs sitting in an oil. We decided in the main course of trout ( $ 19.00) .This arrived as a single fillet 3" by 4" and 3 stems of asparagus . When we commented to the waitress that there was no carbohydrate ( bread, or potatoes or rice, the waitress commented on how pleased that they served no potatoes in the menu at all. OK , ...so after consuming the small potion of fish, we commented on still being unsatisfied and the waitress suggested we order more food from the menu, we ordered two tacos ($ 6.00 ) each. Still no satisfied and hungry, we asked for the bill. Now, to be clear the service was good and the small portion of fish was very good. The bill at the end was excssive for a piece of fish, burned corn and a tacos at ($28.00) for each of us. Do not go to this place , there is extremely poor value for the money and you will leave hungry. The mistake we made was Not leaving after the 1st glass of wine(6 oz for $8.00). Extremely not worth the time, energy and expense to explore .Don't bother going there, you will waste your money..

Recently had a very unsatfisfying Sunday lunch at The Mill Stone. Three of us arrived, with a reservation, to an almost empty – and very chilly – restaurant. Several menu items were not available. We waited forty minutes for food to arrive with no attention – no offer of bread, no water refills, no reasons for the delay. Portions were VERY small though prices were not. Left hungry and stopped for coffee and a snack on the way to the theatre. Definitely not recommended.
