Stratford Thai Cuisine

The food was excellent with servings so big my sister, mum and I felt the need to eat it all but simply couldn’t so we get goodies to eat later! There were plenty of great options for us as vegans/vegetarians The server was wonderful. He was professional and a delightful to talk to. It felt as though we were dining in his home with how attentive he was. We also overheard him handling some other customers who were less than pleasant the same way as us. Trying to make them as happy as possible even though they were unreasonably demanding. I, a server myself, was totally impressed with him. Thank you! The decor is stunning, I’ve never seen a place quite like this and now want to remodel my own home after them. I would return in a heartbeat.

Food was reasonable, if a bit pricey. What turned me off was the service. I have been here several times before but the last time really turned me off this place. There were four couples and we were the only ones who did not order wine. The server completely ignored us, while being super-friendly (as in squatting down by the tables to have nice cozy chats) with every table that ordered wine. No matter that we waved to catch her attention, she just passed by and asked the next table if there was anything else she could do to make their evening more pleasant. Well, we decided going forward we could make our evenings more pleasant by going somewhere else.

I've been here a handful of times including getting take-out and have enjoyed most dishes. Love the mango salad, shrimp green curry, pad Thai (sometimes a bit too sweet), and pad see ew. Good service.

I went to this restaurant last week, as it was recommended by a friend who lives in Stratford. They eat there frequently and the food was said to be good at a reasonable price. This was NOT the case. Yuck! Cashew chicken was ordered. I got maybe 6 cashews. The chicken was awful and rubbery, and the sauce was too spicy for a regular appetite. Also the waitress couldn't seem to get our order correct, and forgot our 2 beers that were ordered until halfway through the meal. I won't be back anytime soon.

Our group had the Lemongrass soup, Satay platter, Pad Thais (curry and regular), Green and Red curries. Everything was just amazing and fresh and very flavourful! Servers were friendly and good. Loved this place!
