Custom Tailored Upholstery

I have dealt with Bernie for at least 20 years and have recommended him to many family members and friends. His meticulous workmanship is evident in a wide-ranging variety of projects which we have sent his way. No matter the condition, style or age of the piece, he always returns it looking like it's worth a million bucks! I won't go anywhere else for my upholstery needs. On top of Bernie's highly developed technical skills, he is also very pleasant and personable. Whenever possible, he will go out of his way to accommodate requests. He makes excellent recommendations with regard to fabrics and does not hesitate to show less expensive fabrics that are of equal quality to more expensive ones. Most of all, Bernie is a master craftsman and artist who takes great pride in his work. And it definitely shows!

An excellent job on my 6 antique dining room chairs, I can't believe how different they look. Bernie went over and above what I needed and such a reasonable cost. I will certainly recommend him to others.

Have dealt with Bernie for several years and have found him to be an honest and professional businessman. He re-upholstered 6 dining room chairs for me a few years ago and, more recently he converted a twenty something year old sofa/love seat set into "new" furniture. All estimates and time lines were spot on. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding resulted in the sofa/love seat cushions being too soft. (back condition). Within 24 hours of being advised of our concern Bernie re-worked all 5 cushions with much firmer material (on his dime!). Would definitely recommend Custom Tailored Upholstery.

I had my furniture done by a company that gets work from malls. I paid them over 10 thousand dollars. Within about 2 years it started falling apart called them they said warranty was over.SO i called Bernie at custom tailored upholstery he came to my house looked at my furniture told me i got ripped off badly. He gave me a great quote an d it would be a 4month wait to pick up furniture. Well Was It Worth The Wait. My furniture looked better than new . Wow was i impressed he fixed everything at a more than fair price.HE even fixed my wood trim at no cost to me .That was 4 years ago it still looks like new .I recently had a zipper break on 1cushion and a seam break on another cushion I called Bernie and told him of the problem he said bring it over to my upholstery shop he would fix it .WOW he called me a few weeks later said i was all fixed i could pick up cushions .I asked how much cost to fix he said no cost . Wow he stood by his word for quality workmanship .This company custom tailored upholstery is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone wanting upholstery work done in a timely professional manner

Thank You Bernie at Custom Tailored Upholstery!! Last year after my Mother passed away I brought Bernie a 50 year old Scandanavian Swivel Chair my Mom had kept (it was "Dad's Chair") over the years. Bernie reupholstered the chair with custom fabrics (both fabric and 3 different leather panels) he repaired the swivel removed all the squeaks. It's better than new!! I was so happy with the work he did I brought him a 100 year old rocking chair which he upholstered and refinished it looks amazing!!! I will be bring yet a 3rd piece to Him very soon. Honest, extremely skilled artisan, to an otherwise lost art!! I woukd VERY HIGHLY recommended Bernie at Custom Tailored Upholstery just around the corner from White Feather Country Store in Raglan,Ontario.
