This is not a Four Star hotel. Do not advertise restaurants if none are open. Very disappointing. They don't even offer you a free bottle of water. If you advertise to join us for coffee and pastry in the lobby, don't charge us. A Four Star hotel has employees who go out of their way to say hello or bonjour. The only people who spoke with me were at check in and check out. I stayed 5 daysnThe gym was nice and the rooms were quiet. This hotel would have been a top-notch place in its day. The theme is interesting, just aged.nHSQ=6
Good hotel, my room was dated. Then did get my group 10 rooms at the last minute. The biggest challenge is it takes 10 days or more to get your security deposit back. At check in they say 3 days.nIt is close to the airport and Metro line.
Disappointed with Our Stay – Not Worth the PricennWe booked 2 rooms for the easter long weekend, each with queen-size beds and a sofa bed. Unfortunately, there were no sofa beds in either room, which was part of our original booking.nHotel staff gave us temporary single beds instead, which were not comfortable and definitely not what we paid for.nBasic amenities were missing – no oven, no kettle, and the fridge in our room wasn't working.nThe room had a strong, unpleasant smell that made our stay even more uncomfortable.nWe planned to use the indoor pool with our baby, but it was shut down without any prior notice.nOverall, we are extremely dissatisfied with both the hotel conditions and the service provided.nWould not recommend this place, especially if you're traveling with family or expecting the amenities they advertise.
Rooms are comfortable with all the basic amenities. Hot water and spacious bathroom. Everything was great, the front desk was very friendly. But the cleaning service was really bad we had our request to change the blankets two days in a row. On the first day they left the bedsheets on the table no vacuum done. On the second day I informed them to clean the room they had vacuumed. On the third day I was frustrated I went directly to the front desk for this daily chorus to be performed and be informed of what had to be done.. so save ur time directly communicate with the front desk. Otherwise they will say our cleaning staff doesn't understand English..nAmazing location, parking was convenient and my kids loved the stay..nTo the hotel management: Carpets need to be thoroughly cleaned it was very dirty and the bathroom exhaust system was blocked internally from outside it looks clean They need to work on it.. if someone is in the shower high chance of Hazardous as that's the only way the steam goes out.. almost had a bad experience
Wife and I stayed there a few weeks ago for two nights and it was so disappointing we will not be staying again. It sad as it came recommended but the experience was not worth the price of admission.nnA few key issues we experienced:n- The room was in disrepair. Fridge didn’t work, washroom was dirty, towel had stains, and floor was peelingn- After our first night, housekeeping took all our towels and only replaced one bath sheet. We called three times over a few hours and only on the third time did they bring half of what we asked for. When my wife asked about the facecloth she requested, she was asked if she had actually requested it. Like, maybe a sassy retort is not the right response in that instance my guy.n- When we asked about the signs saying to be quiet because the rooms around us are for CP and CN employees, we were told that they don’t use those tools anymore and it was just old signage. A lot of old signage. When I was checking out I saw a sign in sheet for CP and CN employees which seems like either the agent at the desk was misinformed or was lying. Either way, clown show.nnThere were other things but I’m not Shakespeare and I think I have made my point. For the cost, I’d find somewhere else. It may not be the worst Montréal has to offer but with that cost I’d expect the hotel to at least try. Don’t say you have a sofa/sofa bed if you don’t. Don’t halfass the experience and lie to your customers. Fix your rooms and clean them.nnI’d say do better but that implies I’d come and double check. You couldn’t pay me to waste another night in that place.
