Car buying here was a total pleasure and I would comfortably recommend car shopping at Cowichan Valley Autos to all family and friends. They were absolute gentlemen to deal with and the car I purchased was exactly as expected.

We have now purchases 2 vehicles from Jeff at Cowwichan Valley Auto sales. He has gone the extra mile to see that we could get into the vehicle we wanted at a fair price. Excellent, courteous service all around.

My wife and I purchased a used horse trailer with living quarters from Cowichan Valley Auto Sales. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeff who is the sales Gentleman. Jeff was fantastic, very helpful and honest and I can honestly say this purchase has been the most rewarding experience for us in dealing with Jeff who was very professional as he did everything he could for us before and after our purchase. Big Thank you to Jeff for making this a excellent memorable experience.

Can't say enough about the owner and staff, Ive had my car for over a year now and have gotten to know the guys really well so much so that they are currently searching for my dream car. I wouldn't consider buying anywhere else. Right from day one I felt this was the dealership to buy from. I purchased a honda civic about 2.5 months ago. when i first bough my car the salesman came across as a positive "customer first" employee. since then i have had nothing but poor experience with the employees and the car itself. unfortunately i now feel like all that Cowichan auto is looking for are quick sales and not long term customers. when i purchased the vehicle, the car had everything ticked off as being good and fully loaded this included a healthy battery, a working am/fm radio and tires that had a timely life ahead of them. the day i drove off the lot the radio was failing and within 36 hours the radio totally stopped all together. i phoned the salesman i dealt with the next business day and over the phone he seemed as though he would be helpful. when i followed his instructions by taking it to their stereo shop the shop confirmed that the radio has a big issue and they did not think it had happened overnight. i walked into you're dealership and brought it to my salesman. he pushed me off and said they had already given me to good of a deal to help me out. even though the item was guaranteed on the sales form he was rather rude in trying to ignore me and saying he was not going to do anything because it was sold as is. well as is was supposed to include a radio. after this poor experience i decided to get the car farther checked out. the tires which had only 20% and were un safe for driving. the battery was weeks away from being completely dead and within 2 weeks of the purchase my car was having troubles starting. there is no way i could morally recommend this company to anyone as my experience with their service and product has left me to write this review. the only reason i give them 1 star is because thats the minimum.

Like the previous reviews the prices are a little more if you have time to shop around. Unfortunately, I did not. I bought a lemon. A 2008 Nissan Titan which was flogged at an auction in Alberta. The sales person really did not know much about the truck. Shortly after I brought it home I noticed several cosmetic things that were masked and shabbily repaired. The door handle for one it actually fell off. We did not drive the truck very often as it is not our primary vehicle however we noticed some intermittent starting issues that had to do with the computer- a failed system that was hard to pin and went on for months...probably why the truck went to auction in the first place. I called the dealer but they had no interest in what I had to say about this- not even a sorry ...

Bought a van from Jeff Harrison. It was at a fair price and in the year I have owned It, I have put on over 80,000 km with only oil changes needed. Good vehicles, good service, fair deals.... thank you Jeffery

Having mechanical issues with a used car I bought from them and they are going the extra mile for me. Update: I bought a 2013 Toyota Sienna here two months ago. It was inspected by their mechanic and mine before I took it home but developed serious mechanical issues in the first 1,000 kms. They went above and beyond to make sure the issues were permanently fixed at no cost to me. You guys rock!

Wow, the lengths someone will go to in order to save their reputation on Google. OK, so i'm the real Izaak Housden. I wrote a negative review of Kolenberg motors a few years back when they refused to fix something they said they had already fixed. Someone created a very similar google account Izaak H and copied my negative review from Kolenberg over to Cowichan valley autos in order to discredit my Kolenberg review. The Cowichan Auto owner correctly identified the fact that I have never purchased anything from them. I have never even heard of them in fact, but someone referenced this in Kolenbergs Google reviews so I looked it up. I had to check my google account because I thought I got hacked. Turns out the name is just similar to mine, and the review never came from me whew! - not hacked. The only way this makes any senes is if a Kolenberg employee or friend did it to disparage my legitimate complaint against Kolenberg. The Izaak H comment is a fake and should not negatively reflect against Cowichan Valley Autos. I cant say how good or bad they are because I have not dealt with them. I did give them 5 stars to try and compensate for the trolls trying to tarnish my name and theirs. Kolenberg should have called me and tried to win back some trust instead of resorting to petty behaviour. I hope the Cowichan owner can use this info to get the fake one removed.
