Best Dealership I have ever been to! No Pressure, Great Price, I Love my Truck!

I really tried to do my proper diligence when I purchased my truck from Kolenberg. They were friendly as ever and accommodated our request to have the vehicle inspected by the local dodge dealership. The results were good. One light burned out and leak in the transmission fluid. I told Kolenberg that I wanted those items fixed first and they agreed to do it. Upon completion of the repairs I purchased the vehicle. When I got it home I noticed it was leaking transmission fluid on my driveway. I did some investigation and discovered that the leak was coming from the transmission cooler itself and sent pictures to Kolenberg as proof the repair was not done (they had mis-diagnosed the source of the leak). Their response was that they had already put alot of money into the truck and would not be spending any more. This was in essence saying the deal is done, your on your own. All that trust that was built during the purchase was suddenly shattered. This was a $250 repair that I was able to do myself in a few hours. Was burning my trust really worth that $250 Kolenberg? I have since discovered that the truck had a wiring harness issue that was shorting the ECM - eventually cooking it, and taking an injector with it. After just 2 years I have already paid more than half the value of the truck in repairs to get this fixed. Did Kolenberg know about this issue before they sold it? I cant prove that they did, but I suspect they knew it had a mysterious intermittent issue that they could not diagnose.
Never again Kolenberg. When you don't stand by your word just to save a buck, the word will get out. I cant tell anyone in good conscience to trust you. In fact, I would advise them to absolutely not trust you and to spend some serious dollars to do a deep diagnosis via a third party before ever considering one of your vehicles.

best car buying experience yet. Mr. Kolenberg helped us by answering all of the questions we had, but stood back and let us make decisions without influence. Great family run business with very honest, hard working guys that aren't out to push you in to something you don't want, only for their own benefit. Highly recommend checking them out.
