Had a really comfortable stay. The rooms and facilities were super clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lounge area was a great surprise; very comfortable, bright, and a nice spot to relax or collaborate.nnThe pool area was clean, and the water slide was such a hit with the kids! The hotel’s location is also convenient, with lots of food options within walking distance. The outlet mall nearby feels a little dated, but it’s still nice for a stroll.nnWe paid around $300 for a Saturday-to-Sunday stay, and overall, it was worth it for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly experience.
Having stayed here over 100 times of the course of years there have been many great stays but over the last couple of years the property has gone downhill. I had continued to stay just because it was a Marriott property but the list of deficiencies continues to grow and at some point health and safety needs to come first.nLately the biggest concern to me was the cleanliness of the room. I was grossed out by the stains in the sink and started looking around the bathroom to find hairs, tissue that appeared to be used under sink. That made me get out Lysol wipes an wipe all surfaces down that I could come into contact with. The sink and shower drains stains found in more than one room.nOther issues with the rooms : curtains that are so old that the seams started to let go so light comes through, mattresses that are so lumpy that a good night sleep is almost impossible, the TV’s are old and small with minimal capabilities although they have started to upgrade but if you do get a new TV the standard Marriott interface is absent so no streaming, furniture in most rooms is beat lots of damage .nAnother issue is the pool & hot tub although the mechanical issues seem to be fixed now. This property has a water slide which means as an adult that isn’t traveling with any do yourself a favour don’t use the pool. Also avoid the first floor unless you don’t mind a steady stream of kids running up & down the hallway.nWith all the issues why did I stay here? The staff on the front desk was outstanding but most all now gone only couple remaining. Plus it is a Marriott property which I favour over Hilton but no more at least in Kingston.
Great layout, fun waterside, lovely and spacious room with all the conveniences, and super helpful staff! With the added bonus of a great little shopling plaza attached! As a hockey mom of a travel hockey player I had several stays in several hotels in the past year. This one was our favorite!
Was wonderful. The bed was comfy, having carpet in the rooms great, roomy plus the pool hours. Didn't like that we had to pay for breakfast there but it was nice and different. Would go there again.
Great overnight stop. The room and all public areas were spotless, and check-in was a breeze thanks to the helpful front-desk team.nnOur child loved the pool, though the slide was closed—big disappointment for the little one. The spa was shut, too.nnStill, for a short stay, the property ticked most boxes: clean spaces, welcoming staff, and enough splash time to keep kids happy slide permitting.
