Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kingston

The staff is very helpful... It was my mom staying here.. Rooms are clean.. Location isn't bad if you don't mind being more downtown.. Only issue we were having was with the wifi service is very intermittent.

Not a traditional Howard Johnson hotel if you are expecting something family oriented. This hotel is located besides a popular sports bar and is at times noisy. Although the room was reasonably clean, it was clearly dated. On the plus side, the Internet connection was good and there was a lot of storage space. A word of warning is that it is easy to drive by as there is not the large sign that you would expect with a chain.

It's a pretty decent budget accommodation. You aren't paying much, so you can't expect too much. Great customer service, though!

Simple layout. Very convenient for quick over night. Only not a 5 star because we asked for a later check out when we checked in and the front desk the next morning had no idea. Bad communication.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend, and we were so pleased with the service, the rooms and I especially want to thank Heidi, who was in charge of housekeeping. Our room was spotless, the new mattresses were the best we have ever slept on! Everything was Perfect. The employees who worked at the Reception Desk went out of their way to be helpful and were very efficient. We have stayed at Hotels/Motels across Canada and the United States and this one is superior in all ways to the others. Thank You all very much. - Michael and Jane Blake
