Costco Wholesale

A few months ago, I went to Costco for the first time, and since then, I haven’t found any place as comprehensive and reasonably priced for buying groceries, vegetables, fruits, and daily essentials. First of all, I can say that almost all their products are delicious and high-quality. You can find a variety of great brands there. The quantities of food they sell are much larger and more affordable compared to other stores. They even have a pharmacy and an optical center.nnThe only downside I noticed is the limited variety of shampoos and clothing. Finally, the most impressive thing is that if you're not satisfied with anything, you can return it without any time restrictions, which is amazing!

December 2024.nnGreat Costco in Vancouver. Lovely surprise to see different products up north. Please bring some of the Asian food and products to Texas.nnKind of throw off by the service here. Maybe the Canadian Costco policy was NOT to help customers load up on the counter. I saw a customer load up all his orders for the cashier to ring up. The assistant simply stand there and be the non engage audience.nnYes. After the orders were rung up. The helper got involved. Felt kind of odd.

What a wonderful Costco location in town next to the Stadium haha! The entrance from the street looks like a mysterious adventure down there. The parking entrance is on the other side completely so it looks hidden. Stock super well maintained. The place was not too busy but still a lot of people during a weekday am with free sampling going on! Most items are same as other Canadian Costco I believe, but it was interesting to see the sushi offers which is not common unless you live on the West Coast I guess. Was not able to try them nor the fast food counter but it looked typical! Pro tip: you can buy the fast food without entering the store as the exit has the counter opened to the outside tables.

I love the Costco brand, however, one thing that is so strange is the staff that they hire to hand out samples don’t seem to be the friendliest. Why is that? They behave as if they’re doing customers a big favor, instead of being more inviting and promote you using or tasting the product. Some drag their feet deliberately when they see people waiting for samples. Others hardly greet you and no response when you say thank you. Unfriendly towards children. Just weird! Solution: don’t give out samples if you’re not going to hire the right people with the right customer facing skills to promote your products.

We went to the Costco on Expo Blvd on November 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m, as I needed to go to the Optical Dept. I was not happy with the fit of my new glasses and wanted to speak to someone about it. I was served by a nice fellow named Leon, who then directed me to an even kinder fellow named Ben. Both were very helpful and I was treated nicely and best of all, my problem was resolved. I wish this particular Costco was closer to where we live than the ones that we have, as this Costco is much nicer and bigger.nnOn a side note, while we were in this crowded Costco on Expo Blvd, we were surprised to see a fellow painting the center pillars with some white paint. It seemed like an accident waiting to happen, as the store was far too busy to be doing it. Sure enough, when we were leaving the store I quickly went in to use the Ladies washroom and there was a woman in there standing over the sink trying to scrub the fresh white paint off of her expensive jacket. I told her that she should go to the Customer Service Desk and speak to someone about it, and as we exited the store I saw her standing in the line. It seemed like the painting could have been done while the store was closed, as opposed to when it was packed with wall to wall customers.nnAll in all apart from the painting we were extremely pleased with our Costco shopping experience, and we will definitely be going back to this store the next time we are in the area.nnThank you Leon and Ben.
