Costco Wholesale

I really like Costco. You can find some very good quality products, even though not everything is perfect. I buy my meat there, some vegetables, and I’ve also purchased electronics. I’ve had an excellent experience with their warranty, because if something doesn’t work for you, they refund your money without much hassle.nnThe only thing I think Costco could improve is adding checkout lanes for people who only want to buy a few items. If those lanes exist, I haven’t seen them. When you’re buying fewer than 10 things, there’s really nowhere to pay quickly. The shopping carts are also extremely large. There should be smaller carts for people who aren’t buying a lot. This would also help with customer flow inside the store, because the carts are so big that sometimes you can barely walk. Not everyone needs that much space when they’re only picking up two or three items.

The store is great. Lots of pay parking $2/2 hours. Well maintained, friendly staff, great sampling. Good selection refreshed frequently. The only downside is the snack bar: it’s the only location where there are no picnic tables to sit while enjoying your hot dog or pizza. There are some tall tables to stand at, but they are all outside without any roof to protect from rain, so they are covered in water or filthy from birds eating leftovers. It would be nice to not have to use the top of a trash can to dine without getting wet!

This is a busy big box North American store chain which require an annual membership. They carry a wide range of products in larger sizes that change seasonally, among their standard items. This location has their own fast food area open to the public for now as the news says they may make it entry with member card, pharmacy, tire shop, bakery, and much more. Costco parking lot follow signs; $2 is plentiful but quite busy, unless you shop at off hours. This location is right downtown.

I went to this Costco to become a member to see if I am actually going to save on my purchases compared to other shops that do not require a paid membership. Long story short, it is not worth it..nnFirst, I had a bad experience by the membership counter. I do not want to blame anything on the employee I interacted with, I believe it is just their bad corporate plans pushed by their higher management.nnThe employee constantly asked me if I want the Costco Mastecard, or if I want to become an executive member! Even though I told her multiple times I just want to try the regular gold star membership first. How do you expect someone who has not been a regular member, to make a decision on paying double the amount of regular membership to receive %2 cashback? Or get a hard credit check to get your Mastercard right away? Unless they have no idea what you are talking about and say yes to everything.nnI was really nervous when she was holding both my ID and my card, after seeing how pushy she is. That is all they need to submit a credit card application for you without your knowledge.nnShe also told me I am going to receive a discount coupon she said there is no catch, when I asked, hopefully she was honest through email to shop online on their website, which I have not received yet.nnI realized they do not price match either, there was a home appliance item which is discounted at every other shop but not at Costco. Their other discounted electronics are also discounted at the same or even lower prices at most of the common shops.nnI shopped a few items in-store and after coming back home I realized I did not save much on any item other than the rotisserie chicken, which is one of the few items they have kept its price low for a long time, based on what I have read online.nnGood thing is that they do accept returns on their memberships, which after my bad experience and realizing I am not going to save much, I do not think I am going to keep.

One of the biggest warehouses of Costco in metro Vancouver with wide range of selection. Walkable from Yaletown and waterfront areas of downtown. Next to Stadium china town metro station.nnThe lift is out of order for last one year . Wish the management fixes it asap
